  1. Hahahaha, you would be a little biased though matey... I like the look of the STI Hatch but the others do look rather dull...
  2. Im surprised it was running ok with 2L more than normal in the engine. Dipstick top to bottom should be 0.5L AFAIK. Silly question but are you pulling the dipstick, wiping clean then dipping again for a reading? Cant say I have ever had a problem like that for either of mine and neither of them used any oil at all.
  3. You think they are bad, look what they did to this one!
  4. A minority of cyclists get on drivers tits. A minority of drivers get on cyclists tits. Theres tits everywhere you go, end off...
  5. Aye, I thought if that too. It was mini on a "mini adventure" They were in the buff though. not sure im keen on that!
  6. Nice car, I thought the "Project Wag" thing was more to do with it being your wife or girlfriend My car may aswell have been a wag cause I spend more time and money on it
  7. I feel your pain dude. Do not ever drive in the centre of London. I drove some work mates down in the work pickup to the bus station during that bloody ash cloud. It was morning rushour and there were cyclists/mopeds/scooters/motorbikes EVERYWHERE!!! One of them cycled into the pickup and started to shout and swear at me, i promptly hauled the handbrake up and jumped out along with the 4 other offshore dudes and told him where to put his bicycle. He then toodled off quitely... Yes, they use the road and wear it out. If it was a "road tax" they should be paying.
  8. You taking the donkey to protect you Grant?
  9. White RA's with black wheels look immense. If I was on the look out for a scoob, white would be top of my list
  10. Some cracking photos there, do you think the road might be closed?
  11. Aye, its still "alive". Dunc no longer owns it though. He now has a 3dr shell.
  12. I would be checking the crank sensor is connected...
  13. Sensible hat on... I would say none of the above if you are planning doing a LARGE mileage. I personally would be going down the diesel route, something along the lines of a Seat Leon FR TDI or the other VAG equivalents. Its all down to personal choice though. If I was travelling up and down the country on motorways and dual carriageways then the first thing I would be looking for is comfort, then fuel economy then performance. The newest diesels can do all three with the sacrifice of handling to a certain extent. Sensible Hat off.... Go for the 330s, you know it makes sense! Id be interested to see the responses of other forums on that particular group of cars...
  14. The wheels will suit the car You sure its not a jack sized hole matey??
  15. Yeah I agree mate, nothing a couple of brown paper bags wouldnt sort though. As an advert I think its poor. Have Subaru forgotten that its not just Ken Block wannabe's that want to buy and own such a car?
  16. The cooler and the whole car both look good but I personally wouldnt paint one black. I would be interested to see the difference in inlet temps between a highly polished/chrome one against a black one.
  17. Brian is right, the current RS6 sports the V10 stolen from Lamborghini with a couple of blowers attached. As if it wasnt pokey enough! http://www.carpages.co.uk/audi/audi-rs6-05-09-07.asp
  18. I'd like some shots like that when I get my new one... You in Aberdeen a lot?
  19. Nice looking car there, how did you get the effect of movement without actually being in the car in the first pic?
  20. That wolverine from X-men has let himself go a bit I wasnt there long but thoroughly enjoyed my day out, good to see folks again! I really wanted to head out on track but with the carbeing for sale I decided against it. Next year though in something more suited to the job.... Well done to all involved!
  21. Dear god thats expensive! Also, it may just be the photo's/light but are the drivers door and front wing a different shade of white?
  22. Stunning pics of the best uk car Subaru sold. Picture 2 could have been in a brochure!
  23. I wouldnt bother changing a flywheel when changing a clutch but i would mate the new clutch to the old flywheel and have them balanced and maybe lighten the flywheel. Just my opinion. Others may see it different.
  24. A vast improvement there chief, looks much better in my opinion!
