  1. A full size one of these would have made the school run a little more exciting!
  2. Aye and from that to this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skJipgHhZ50&feature=fvw The crash itself is amusing, but i thought that the recovery truck sponsored by chipsaway was funnier, he's gonna need more than chipsaway to sort that out!
  3. Aye, fit like min. Welcome along to the forum. Good to see more and more members up here! Nice hatch and the colour really suits the hatch!
  4. Sorry if you have seen it before but I just had to share it!
  5. Welcome along and nice car, the wheels suit it. What turbo are you running with 740's that needs to be bigger?!
  6. He'll have some fun claiming off his insurance..."Your car was stolen and crashed by who?" Hope for the drivers sake that his insurance is all up to scratch and covers all mods if any.
  7. +1
  8. Yeah, the mirrors are going back to the original owner but I think I will get replacement ones. Whether they are carbon or GRP, I've still to decide Thanks Pete Yeah, definitely worth the wait Ciaran, I'm probably gonna hold off on the mods and just enjoy it as is. I got a pm from the original owner of the current engine saying it had been rr'd at 311/278 and it feels every bit like that. I'm content with it for now but might get bored... Thanks Frank, I intend to! Yep am chuffed to bits with it Wayne!
  9. looks like a nice car, the hawk wagons dont look bad at all!
  10. I wouldnt hold your breath on that... Last time i went away for 5 days i was stuck there for 10 weeks! Thanks Gus, i've heard you are a fan of the milleniums/ST2's Yes Dave, your gonna have to bring your "A game" to the fling next year! Power may be up by then and this time I will have a far more capable brake set up. The talent bag however will still be tiny hahaha
  11. I never looked to see if you had but you might be better posting this in the "Strictly Technical" section. Link... http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showforum=6
  12. I notice yours changed too I actually deleted a similar one. The ???'s will disappear, all in good time, all in good in time Just need to get it on some rollers. Then I can start throwing some bits on it to see the difference they make. Then some exterior mods.
  13. Happy now?
  14. Its standard of course! To give it it's full sunday name it's a WRX STi Type RA V-Limited, Bob for short. Seriously though, its nearly standard. Currently running a VF28, walbro pump, 7B plugs, induction kit and a prodrive exhaust system. As you see it has 18" Relolution Milleniums shod with Toyo Proxes. Standard STi Suspension and some chunky brakes! Its the pervious owner of my cars current car. In that photo its running 0cc, 0psi and 0bhp. Mebees aye, mebees naw.... Good spot! Thanks for the nice comments fellas and yes I agree, the Milleniums are the only wheel for me on a classic.
  15. Well as a some of you already know I've had my eye on a certain car for a wee while now. Today I finally got my filthy mits on it! I did enjoy my uk turbo 2000 but it was only ever a stop gap until I found another type r or type ra. It will be staying standard(ish) for now but I do have a few parts up my sleeve/in the cupboard to be fitted in the future. Here's some piccies. Just want to also say a massive thanks to Wuz for having it road ready before departure and also to thank duncATR for keeping him awake/helping out. I'm delighted with the car and I've only driven it home!!
  16. Liking the look of that, very nice!
  17. Rich "Cullenmin" is from up there I think....
  18. The forum name is irrelevant as far as I am concerned, the fact that he is in an impreza with or without a turbo acting like t**t behind the wheel. Its the impreza that gets the bad name! I had a similar experience recently but wasnt an impreza but a rear wheel drive bavarian vehicle with no apparant working indicators. My opinion of people driving such a vehicle has always been rather low but it took a fair dive that day...
  19. whats DBM?? I agree on the scoop and spoiler. Also I thought all '00 cars had body coloured skirts? I would put it up for near 3500. I sold my '99 turbo 2000 recently for over £3000 and it had 96k on the clock. Did have a sports cat, walbro, ngk's, K+N panel, and Andy Forrest remap though. Only exterior mods were some Speedline ST2's I always wanted a Mica Blue one but I prefer the specs of ones you get with Sonic Blue...
  20. yep revolution milleniums like these would look good... http://www.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q...345&bih=553 the dark gunmetal/graphite.black would suit i think...
  21. This made me chuckle... seeing Jason Plato the BTCC champion squirm in the passenger seat beside Tiff on 5th Gear...
  22. well done and good write up Your car looks good too but one thing... are your carbon mirrors on the right way?
  23. Sounds like you have a serious fuel dissapearing problem. My last UK car at the very worst would get 180-200 to a tank and, though I never managed 400 on a tank ive had over 200 to half a tank.
  24. I paid by card over a year ago...
  25. Glad to hear you have a fozz again Al, it looks great! Care to divulge more info on your trip to port seton? Any mods planned?
