  1. Glad to hear you sussed it out, what was the problem? We will see indeed! looking forward to a good hoon around in the highlands!
  2. Another Vpower vote here! I bought almost 100 litres of it bought today!
  3. How very dare you! Aye, it's a bit nippy now min, think I'm going to have to review my throttle application technique in anything other than dry conditions!
  4. Confirmation from Mr F today, that'll be 389 horses disagreeing with you Dave
  5. Maybe one of the 3 is the guy in the yellow NSX?
  6. Pass you... shouldnt be too hard if all goes to plan! His engine in the RA let go last year at the AS Ingliston day. He's putting in a new one but not sure as to full spec. He does still have the newage too.
  7. Very nice Al, the lift must be a godsend for underside/brakes! Best of luck with you're "service" chief!
  8. Unless the man infront isnt quick enough for you... Think Ali was half planning joining in but i think it was depending on him getting mapped before it.
  9. where do i send my cv? nobody bakes me cakes here! Enjoy the new car dude!
  10. I stand by my original statement... and you're lighter than me... Just
  11. Yep, Wuz is a leg end when it comes to Subaru servicing and modifying, worth his weight in gold. The only trouble you will have is getting a hold of him. He works offshore month on month off.
  12. So will your self mapping sort out the overfuelling? I am planning to do some mods on the car later this week (providing it passes its MoT! Cant wait! Oh and be ready for a phonecall of help to get the tubby out!
  13. Welcome along fellow highlander! The only place I've heard of getting commendation up by you is Bitz in Nairn. Dave (scooby222) the RO and yokel to the area might have a better idea as I'm rarely up there nowadays.
  14. Aye, welcome back and congrats on the sprog. Dave - entertaining is all well and good but if they cant make a decent cup of tea they're hopeless!
  15. As Alistair says, if it comes off in one and is in reasonable condition then it should be fine but for all the cost of a new gasket, I would just get a new one.
  16. I certainly am easily bribed with tea and beer but like Dave I live miiiiiiles from you. There must be someone local to do it? Even go to a small garage with the bits and give a mechanic a back hander?
  17. Haha, what a bunch of charmers you lot are!
  18. I have to admit I would be pretty hacked off too. Ok, his priorities changed with the Autosoort show, that'st forgivable but to leave you out of pocket for the tyres as well seems harsh. I know I would have cleared you for it all by now, I don't have/wouldn't like people having to chase me for cash.
  19. Having said that, I saw a piccy of it on bobby's car the other day and wondered if he had to chop a chunk from the bumper to get the tailpipe to fit? Best ask bobby himself on that one. I'm no expert on newage rear ends.
  20. I have a wee petrol car to tool about in town in but if I was doing any motorway mileage I'd have a diesel VAG car of some description.
  21. Should be a straight swap. As far as I know all the newage saloon exhausts are the same (2001-2008).
  22. I'd say a week or so of no response from the buyer. Presuming you have reminded them of said parts and that you are awaiting payment.
