  1. As barry says, drop him a short to the point email. Also, he usually starts at 9am and 1pm, try 5-10 mins before these times and you might have more sucess on the phone.
  2. Sorry, I never noticed your post. Lots of useful information in link below (post #2). Seems its a bolt on item. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1141476
  3. Yip, I know the one. Its just passed the AECC on the way north.
  4. where is the "like" button?!?! Very much a fan of the spoilerless look There is a thread on spoilerless over on SN that makes for nice viewing if this look floats your boat.
  5. Back of the net! I hope I'm gonna be here for it cause I'm getting sick of missing trackdays and events!
  6. Whereabouts is that station Davie? I can't think which one it could be...
  7. Modding a Ltd Edition Impreza, who would do such a thing! I think its sitting nicely on the BC's Wayne, maybe a little low but if it increases your enjoyment when you get out in it then its got to be a plus.
  8. Not sure in Aberdeen, take it to a machine shop maybe falconers in Blackburn just outside Aberdeen? I had the same issue with a 16G I bought second hand. I was getting it rebuilt by AndyF anyway and he offered the repair via someone else. DOnt know who though.
  9. Before you go buying one, have a listen to a few - preferably with and without the bung and also try and get a run out in a car with one. That way you will get a feel for the noise inside the car too. I used to love them but now I couldnt live with one, even with the bung in.
  10. Well your cheapest option is to have the original flange repaired. Are you looking for much more power? What figures did you have in mind? If you swap that turbo out with anything but a VF35 you will have to remap. I dont see how this talk of injectors relates to spool? If you're not refitting a repaired original or s/h VF35 and you want quicker spool (like Kenny said) get a TD05-16G or if youve got about a grand to throw away on a turbo, I highly recommend the ScoobyClinic Billet items. Porting of your headers and uppipe will also give quicker spool.
  11. NO idea about the car. Maybe its the photo but it looks like its had a front end respray...
  12. You sure its dropping to 200? The rev counter starts at 500, no? I only ask as I thought exactly the same of my car not too long ago. Turned out to be an intermittent connection to the MAF. Have a check of the wiring on the connector for its condition.
  13. Price probably is about right.
  14. Also, in the case of Admiral. I am covered to drive other cars but "only in the event of an emergency"
  15. Its also worth checking your Crank Position Sensor. Its No.13 in Cathy's diagram, right underneath the alternator. If its this at fault then (when you do a proper diagnostic run) it will show up as code 11. If this is not connected properly then you will get fuel and air, the engine will turn over and over but give you no spark. This is the one which should be disconnected when dry cranking after oil change.
  16. Is the fuel pump priming when you turn the key? Is it turning over and not firing or just not turning over? If not, try tapping the starter.
  17. Ah grand, I'll pop in by in the RA tomorrow then!
  18. Nice flaps Colin, I used to have a set just like that only they were black...
  19. Are you guys going to be at scrutineering or service this weekend?
  20. Haha, I just PM'd the wrong person!
  21. I was definitley in the "holy shit batman" train of thought after each of my remaps Worth every penny!
  22. That's the way Dave, admitting you have a problem is the first step on the road to recovery!
  23. Well it would appear I am now not going to make it. Although I have holidays for this weekend I am now going to be hauled away (kicking and screaming) to Angola the week before. Absolutely raging!
