About G4RY

  1. I've only fitted front droplinks to my WRX. And there's a difference there. The rest of the suspension is next. Never too old to mod
  2. Clocked you as I was on Greenock Road. You were heading north. I was in my transit heading home to Glasgow..
  3. Ive been on here a few years as a non - paid member. The days when you had so many posts to make & you opened up the sale section to sell stuff. Logged on 1 day & noticed it had changed to paid up members. So the decision came, pay up & get to sell. Not to mention the goodies you get lol. Also went with Keith Michaels this year which saved a little.
  4. I had a series McRae insured with direct line which i was paying £500 for. The year after it went to £600. Then i bought a blobeye WRX, they wanted an extra £100 for a newer car. Went with sainsburys who did it for £500. Im now with Keith Michaels who blew them all out the water, £390
  5. You might be thinking about the handling pack. Ive got that on my 05 blob. It has blue prodrive springs & anti roll kit
  6. Knows his scoobies. Done my front pads & discs plus reasonably priced
  7. The standard speakers aren't up to much but just changing the unit does sound alot better. Just can't crank it up
  8. Halfords have it for £130.
  9. Well thought it was time to get rid of the standard unit. Was a toss up between an Alpine or Pioneer. After reading reviews on them both, the Pioneer just edged a little to clinch the deal.
  10. Spotted a silver V plate classic with a few SIDC stickers on it
  11. Quite content with this the now. Some aren't ment to be changed. Found that out by changing one then ended up with a hard brake pedal after boosting then braking
  12. Well since it was dry today & i got new silicone hoses, thought good time to get them fitted. It started out an easy wee job, until we couldn't get the bottom hose off due to a snapped head. Then to top it off ended up a radiator out job (should have done this from the start) But got there in the end. Big thanks to scoobywho for getting his hands dirty.
