  1. has it got numbers or is it chinese one?
  2. 4 door v6 wrc limited or for 2 door v6 type r
  3. your mug is now being held hostage.
  4. need another old timers inverness run min, even with current gbox i doubt the cubans can put on such a good naked bubble bath bouncy castle bbq as yourself
  5. im not suprised they cant get it adjusted, there is only toe adjustment on standard rear setup. are you sure you need a new hub? sounds like a set of camber bolts should do the trick. did they only have probs with the drivers rear, what the score with passanger rear?
  6. if the hub is not true would it not just maybe need the wheel bearing done. did lasers go on hub or around wheel/tyre? perhaps a buckled wheel. if its lack of adjustability there are no camber adjustment bolts on the rear struts as standard. if you have coilovers fitted it has probably changed the camber. you can retro fit camber bolts if needed though.
  7. nairn to grantown, any/all roads through dufftown, mulben to craigellachie, over the lecht. pretty much any road as long as you keep away from red routes and tourists.
  8. aye aye min, just nae long home for my tea. its a good job it wasnt maf as uk car has different maf than wrx, sti. glad to see you got it sorted.
  9. i have no problem with you setting up your own forum. what i found very hard to believe was that you set up under the same name with a different .bit i would of though it would have at least needed a search to see if domain was vacant or in use which surely would have shown up this forum as part of the result. which other way could it then be percieved as. i could only see confusion between the two sites as who remembers the .bit after seeing some of the branded gear on folk at rallies, meets etc. it appears that a solution has been mooted with your good grace so apologies on my behalf.
  10. i was indeed silver classic two cars in front. i was actually aware of your presence as with everybody else in the vacinity. no need to repeatedly rev your engine and let your atmpospheric valve dump. thanks.
  11. ah our gear that imy sorted out for us has scottish scoobies on it. plagarism and poaching members, what a fanny.
  12. when was fluid last replaced? hows the thickness of the discs?
  13. take it there is a good weight saving ditching factory master. ive never understood why factory unit needs to be so big, does the wee master push enough volume to be effective?
  14. very nice. did you keep your original fittings etc to reuse? as they are a fair price for all they are. got a brand new set here waiting to be painted too.
  15. pretty straight forward. you will have to remove rubber gromit on backplate and wind hand brake adjuster all the way slack before removing discs. dont under any circumstances use brute force or wind bolts into disc as you will just **** up yer handbrake shoes $ springs etc. once new brakes are on bleed and wheel back on before lowering car wind up adjuster till wheel binds then slacken off a notch or two till wheel is free to rotate.
  16. thats what i was thinking. just tried it out of curiosity.
  17. facelift grill is different shape at end to meet flush with facelift lights. i take it your car is pre 96. 96-98 or 98-00 would suit but theres a slight change in design with botton lip protruding more on later cars. i think acid was running his old green car with facelift grill and non facelift bonnet but i canny mind right. may have been other way about. send him a pm and see if it fitted alright.
  18. i tried we buy any car for my pals x reg wagon with 106K on the clock. offer price was just over 2K. it wasnt as bad as i thought. going to try private sell for just a wee bit more. were changes in road tax scheme just postponed for a year? they will probably bring it back soon to try and get more coffers to make an insignificant +ve on the billions they have dished oot. wonder if pre 2001 car would be more desirable as a result?
  19. looks like they went all out desiging the front and gave up a bit on the back to me. would prefer a bit more balance.............. twin turbo leggacy would be much more like it .
  20. i would try removing other bolt holding spot on, if it snaps too all the better. behind the platic where the fog sits there is a very thin metal square which has nuts welded to it. it will probably be rusty. once all bolts are out it should lift up a bit and then fall off. you could then get a second hand one or use just normal nuts/bolts with some large penny washers. i got new ones cause im a fussy git. dab of copper grease on reassembly to prevent it happening again.
  21. aye nae bother. might be handy having either 1/4 or 3/8 socket set for getting in about the indicator retaining bolt iirc.
  22. a horrible surprise to come home to. i dont think i would leave my car with anybody. at the very least they would have only been covered third party and even if they drove canny there is no telling what other drivers may have done. good luck on the job front.
  23. its happened to me in the past too. select options at top of thread and change the viewing mode and it comes back to normal. mine changed itself before without me touching owt.
  24. if its just the side walls then maybe removing inner lip would suffice but that could lead to rust issues if not done right. do you not have adjustable suspension now? cant say im that often four up.
