  1. I've restored a few from older firmware without issues. Did it reboot after you loaded it up. If not reset the iPod holding the Home button and the Off button until the screen goes blank.
  2. Hi John, Never heard of that happening, only with older firmware. I've done mine with no hiccup and also know others now who have no issues. Make sure when your running the software everything else is closed so it does'nt interfere. Restore will bring it back to life.
  3. Hi John, Cydia is where you can download lots of un-orthodox goodies from! One BIG bank of many different sources, supplied straight to your handset. Themes, ringtones, sms alerts, emulators. Pretty much anything you wanted to change, or do on your phone is now possible! Inside Cydia it has lots of different sub-categories for you to look through and updates itself with new software everytime you log back on. It really is better to Jailbreak, I had actually forgotten how addictive it becomes looking through the updated software everyday! Make sure your signal is at 3G when downloading. My advice would be search for Winterboard as soon as you are up and running in Cydia. There is a search engone that will make it easy for you. Once Winterboard is on your iPhone, you can start customizing it as any Themes, SMS alerts or wallpapers are launched from Winterboard. Any other issues drop me a line!

  5. Whats the alternative to Cydia?! It was the bees knees a year ago, but just does'nt seem to have improved any, and is pretty damn slow! Whats this with Springboard?! How can I get more icons on it!?
  6. I certainly dont Welsho... www.spiritjb.com Quickest Jailbreak ever with a 1 click solution. Done in 60 secs. Let me know how you get on mate!
  7. Plug change could be a coincidence. Changed any air filters or the MAF recently at a service!? How is the problem occuring!? Hesitation?
  8. So, I know we already have an iPhone thread for the purist apps but what about the Jailbroken apps!? Jailbroke my 3GS tonight and wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of a few goodies???
  9. Yeah did think "wish I was going the other way" so I could hear her through the tunnel. Really is a nice car Jim, especially the colour.
  10. First time i've seen this. Excellent work by everybody, good to see Subaru supporting the efforts.
  11. Aaaahhh total rubbish. I remember that car from the Gathering, only dreaming that I could own something like it some day. Totally gutted for you mate, I know how it feels to see your pride and joy like that. So glad you and the passenger are A OK.
  12. Yeah I'm starting to think more along those lines. He posted from the states during the week, so doubt he's back to have it out... Lets hope so anyway!
  13. Check if the engine has been rebuilt. If not...step away from the Scooby! Thats actually quite cheap if the engine has been rebuilt, even if the wheels are faded. Repainting costs nowt these days to traders. One garage in Paisley has one with similar mileage for 9k but ive seen the service history and it makes War and Peace look like a learner read! Ask to see all receipts for services and work carried out. If its not satisfactory and you like the sound of the one above, drop me a line and ill get you the garages number.
  14. Saw you heading into the Clyde tunnel around 2-3ish today!? Such a nice Classic Jim, makes me very jealous.
  15. 3GS 3.1.3 JAILBREAK SOFTWARE!! www.spiritjb.com Select your OS "Windows" or "Mac" Select "RUN" Plugin your iPhone and select Jailbreak...done. Simple as that> 60 seconds max and loads Cydia onto your iPhone. Have fun!
  16. Lets hope it isn't what we all think it is...
  17. Heard the news tonight as well. Hopefully everyones ok. Sad to lose such an iconic car...
  18. BLOODY HELL NEIL! Give you a tenner for the Classic and a McKids meal. I know what your saying mate, forum has'nt really felt the same over the winter seems like it has'nt really "picked up" the way it should have but never lose faith bud. Plus what the hell am I going to do if you disappear and I decide to get my wheels painted again?? 2 Drumsticks and a 10p mixup for the Gathering stuff...
  19. If your contract is up at the 30th June Stephen and your woth 02, you shouldve recieved your upgrade code 3 months ago! I took on my 2nd iphone this week. A friend works in the Apple shop and told me the staff are allowed to place deposits on the iphone 4. My deposit has been given!! WOOHOO!
  20. I think we can all drop the slagging and branding Wilky, but we can't ignore the fact that across the bored just now there seems to be a serious issue with car theft which really has'nt been AS bad as this since the 90's. If as many cars are going missing, at the rate that members are saying they are then clearly this is a huge problem. Being a mechanic I have every break-in kit going but the simple fact is, keys are needed for most modern cars and I for one dont fancy waking up to someone asking me for the keys. These people have to be stopped and if the numpties on youtube are willing to call themselves car thieves, even if their not, then it should be seriously looked into.
  21. Yeah, then they can have the Impreza Supermarket placed in front of them giving the ideal car shopping experience. Registration plates and all!
  22. The cars being stolen are too sophisticated for the numpties up in Milton. I know the area VERY well, and they're more opportunists than stolen to order thieves. RacerX or Scoobzie, amidst all the bull**** going on I can see your point but the idiots posting these videos are just that...idiots. The cars going missing left right and centre just now are being stolen for purpose, they would only be found torched by these guys, not in a breakers yard being cut-up and sold on.
  23. Do the same as the lads have specified above. Clearly good advice, as it proves to have worked. If you dont know where the pipes are and how to clean them let us know and we'll point you in the right direction.
  24. That made me laugh so loud! I enjoy your humour mate!
  25. Yeah Neil, its quite rife just now. Every year we've always had travellers pitching up not far from us, but never really had any hassle. This year we've had a lot of grief. Machinery parts missing, raided our diesel tanks in December and the scrap metal went the tale end of last year as well. I know times are hard, but jeez!
