  1. Cool! Very unusual.
  2. Yeah. I can see that as a good compromise. I remember one time some guy couldn't get to sleep because of lorries going over a speed hump that was installed outside his house. He complained about it time and time again and the council didn't listen. So, he got a JCB and dug it up himself! He was taken to court over it.
  3. What is that back-end all about?
  4. You said what I was thinking! It seems that there is nothing that can be done to stop this. Perhaps taking a JCB into the council office car park and trashing everyone of their cars in protest, might be the only way to wake these negligent to$$ers up. Just a shame that such action has to be illegal. Pffff.
  5. Stealth Bomber... Awesome!
  6. A grand for some pops... waste of cash if you ask me! I can think of many better ways to spend that kind of money. Plus the fact, a full decat makes the car illegal, which is not something I could be bothered with TBA besides being illegal, there is the hassle of getting a so-called "friendly" MOT station. Mind you with the full decat and the map, you'd get uround 350bhp. I know you're not into more power but if you're going to be spending 600+ on a re-map, you might as well take it. Having said all that, I'm not sure you are not just pulling some legs here
  7. That's the stuff
  8. lol! Me too, just!
  9. Yeah, the stong smell of petrol would have been an indication of that I guess.
  10. Only ever soap and water on my wheels mate. Dunno whether to complain or not, dunno if its worth my while or hassle. Probably just stick with it till they are a lot worse and get someone else to do it.
  11. What was it I said...?
  12. Well the type of people who would buy such a thing would know what they are looking for, so I'm sure they will spot the mistake too, but I think its worth asking the seller to explain why he thinks its a STi V5.
  13. Welcome mate and a very nice looking car!
  14. Now for the bad: Got my car done a year ago and the laquer has started to flake off around the wheel nuts and small instances of bubbling appearing here and there, not happy
  15. LOL! Wish I had thought of that Good on ye mate
  16. Ha yeah, was as good laugh Yeah I was surprised at how easy it was, but there is sill time for thw wheel or caliper to fall off! Ha! Only slight trouble I had was getting the studs all the way through. When I put the disk back on, I put the nuts in place and tightened them up to pull them through, but this started to bite into the disc-face and also damaged the nut. In the end, I used a spanner to protect the disc-face, but this was still causing the nuts to get damaged, I ended up just putting the wheel back on and tightening up, pulling the studs through the last couple of millimetres.
  17. Just what I was thinking! That has to be a form of OCD!
  18. A constant and open dialogue! LOL! Na, to be honest, I felt totally at ease, Jim is well-capable behind the wheel - had a great laugh too
  19. Google: Missing teeth - bingo! 30 seconds
  20. Och aye, the R32 Kid! Nice too meet yous!
  21. Three convictions, not jsut three pulls.
  22. That's about the sixth or seventh pull I have had since I got the car and as yet, have only received a fine for the number plate. What Bugeye was yours again?
  23. Never! Ever! And the number plate is NOT being corrected either. I'll leave it like that till the take it off me, no point in having it with the correct spacing
