  1. Yeah, hes in Glasgow and according to his description, he has the other bits to make it fit. Its done near 50k though. I don't have a clue what I'm looking at or exactly what I need to make it fit my car. I think I am going to hold out until I can get a PPG kit for my own box. That way I know exactly what I'm getting. Thanks for the heads-up though.
  2. Nothing. I just broke it and got it fully re-built as standard but it will not last if I keep up my track pursuits so I need to, at some point replace the box or install a PPG kit as it is just going to pop again. Don't have the cash at the moment as I keep spending my money on other stuff! Doh!
  3. Oh aye! Mon the Newages!!!!!
  4. Nice one mate!
  5. Hmmm, never noticed that and if I was buying that would defo put me off.
  6. If the light is out, the fault has gone. As stated previously, the ECU will store whatever issue you had and can be read on the monitor and cleared at the same time. That will let you know what the issue is, so you should still get it checked. Of course, it may still come back
  7. Yellow racing stripes!
  8. Thanks Neil
  9. Could be anything mate, really. If its hesitating when revving, might be the MAF or O2 sensor, then again, hesitancy in the revs could be ignition retardation caused by knocking, but I'd imagine that this would only happen at really high revs. May also be a coilpack, possibly plugs! I'm really not the best person to be advising you TBH, but if you could at least eliminate the sensors by placing known good ones in - perhaps borrow them from a fellow Scooby driver. The MAF is the easiest to change but the O2 one is a big more difficult given its location. If you don't have to wait long for the diagnostics, probably be better just holding off. Hope it goes well, mind post up what was wrong.
  10. All well-cool!
  11. What are brake stoppers?
  12. Oh yes! Proper car indeed.
  13. Yeah, the sticky out bits the the wheels go onto, not the nuts, yeah those... Anyone have a part-number/cost for these things? Thankyou! JW
  14. Those wheels you asked for Frank... Well, it is an older car! Jeez I crack myself up! Just kiddin' man, car looks great
  15. Smart cookie.
  16. Yeah, I have seen one with Coulthard driving the McLaren and another with Shumacher driving the Ferrari. Well of course its going to take a few attempts at choreographing (sp?) it, no shame in that.
  17. Lovin' that! The red in the wheels go well with the WRX in red on the black flaps. And yes, once the big gap is gone, it will look even better! Good job!
  18. I can do that - older hands and and mind means it now takes me 80-90 seconds Dont know that - don't care! The universe can't be infinite. That it had a start point means its not eternal, therefore subject to entropy But that aside, feel free to demonstrate your prowess on my car, anytime!
  19. You know too much for your own good. Note to emoe: must get out more.
  20. AND... that rules me out of EVER attempting any of that!
  21. WRX with STi spoiler, TMIC and front brakes... you might call it a hybrid of sorts
