    Marky, go to www.vipergrafix.co.uk and order a 3 metre roll of racing stripes like my orange ones. Cut the two strips up the middle and make the cross that way. Cost about £15. There is a phone number on the site too, so you can give them a call to make sure you get it in time for the weekend.

    That's why I don't like Prodrive springs, becasue they dont drop the car nearly enough. That said thoughm there is a difference and it looks cool. Most of the difference will be in the handling as opposed to the look.

    Yeah, but where is the imagination and ingenuity in that? Half of the battle and the fun is trying to find a plate that says something about you or your car while maintaining its original form - using numbers as letter etc.

    Not worth a grand mate, plus people outwith the SIDC will think your name is George Mac... I think your 1k could be better spent elsewhere or at least have a look at some of the £250 options; that's were I got mine.

    Exactly. If you are as knowledgeable about Subarus as you state, you might have noticed the difference between getting your Geographicals done as opposed to your geometry done.

    Never heard of a competition plate, so I'm guessing that its simply a regular numberplate that is registered to a competition car.

    But he doesn't have competition numberplates, so it can't be construded that he is taking part in racing. So he should be ok.
