  1. I think the part number you quoted Wilky is the plugs for the 2.0 engine. The 2.5 plugs are longer.
  2. Aye, mucho? Looking for the cooler ones Grieg, thanks for the offer though
  3. Yeah, its just finding somewhere that sells a range of seats and that is easy to get to. Just got an e-mail from Demon Tweaks. For two Sparco sprint seats at £130 each, its going to cost me £500!!!! That includes carraige of course, but still, thats over £200 just for rails and fittings! So £500 for a couple of £130 seats... hardly seems cost effective! Any other providers?
  4. Cheers Scott. Did you see the two links I posted near the top opf the thread? Those are the ones I was thinking about; any thoughts on those?
  5. Are those the step cooler ones or just the standard ones? If its the step cooler ones, I'll have em.
  6. Doh! The dealers! Why didn't I think of that!?
  7. Cheers! What seats do you use and can you recommend any - without going nuts with the price?
  8. What would you do if your car broke? Drag it onto the main road and call the RAC?
  9. My 30k service is WELL overdue so I need to start getting some bits together. I already have the one step cooler plugs in my MY06 WRX but I can't remember for the life of me what the part number is! Anyone know? Please remember that the plugs for the 2.5 are different (longer) than those used in the earlier 2.0 cars
  10. DEFIs were £450 with pod, wiring, sensors and controller.
  11. Does anyone know were I can get a set of bolts that are required to hold the brake caliper onto the hub (or whatever it is that its attached to). I have a MY06 WRX with STi8 Brembos on the front. The NSF caliper has got one makeshift bolt holding it in place and I'd like to replace this with the proper one. I was in there this weekend replacing the bolts for holding the wheel in place but I was unable to get the bottom of the two bolts out to take the caliper off in order to remove the disk to get at the wheel-bolts. I managed it in the end without taking off the caliper, but as stated, would still like to get the proper bolts. The makeshift bolt-head appears to be chewed up somewhat, so the spanner/socker just keeps slipping off. Any suggestions for getting it off. Thanks! JW
  12. Yeah, I'd agree with that, but they seem to cost a good bit more than regular bucket seats.
  13. Sounds like you had a blast! I'd love to try other circuits besides Knockers but I lack bottle So did you take your car down on a trailer or did you drive it down? Also, how many half hours sessions did you get and how much did it cost? JW
  14. Good point on the batch resizing... I forgot that Photoshop Elements does that too, I use it all the time.
  15. Hi Scott (It is Scott, right?) Yeah, for minimal track use and road use. However, I don't do long journeys in the Scoob, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. If I did, I'd do what you did and use a cushion I already have 3-point harnessess that are removable but I also wanted the seats to improve the look of the interior as well as even better holding I know there are better things to spend my money on... but if I followed that instinct I'd be driving a Ford Focus Diesel or something (no offence to Focus drivers, its just NOT a Scoob). Thanks for the input
  16. So Stephen you have your sensor on the block while Peter is recommending the plate... hmmmm. Why is everything so freaking complicated!
  17. Who are you asking? If its me, then I have both options available to me. The gauges that are already fitted, are connected to the individual sensors, but I also have a sandwhich plate. However, since I have to take the alternator and TMIC off to remove the old gauges, I might as well connect the new ones in the same way. I'd have a go at it, but taking all those bits out of the engine its a bit too daunting for me; as for the electrics... that's another matter altogether.
  18. Nice pics. The Hawkeye with the carbon bonnet & scoop, black wheels and spoilerless look, is the car of choice for me, LOVE that!
