  1. Mines from the front. Like Colin's pics, not the best due to darkness etc and the fact that I don't have much room for manouver in the driveway! From the rear. The strap bolts onto the front of the back seat ledge. Should anyone wish to use the back seat, either straddle the belt or, as you can see, it unclips. The short peice attached to the back seat, then sits under the floor mat and out of sight. You can't see it on this pic but the side straps attach to little brackets with a metal loop on them that are bolted using the bolts that hold the runners to the floor. The harness can be easily detached using the caribina type attachment at the ends of the belt.
  2. Will take some a little later and post them on this thread. My harnesses are Sabelt three-point jobs. Pretty basic but they'll do.
  3. Do it mate. Mines can come in and out no probs. However, one day after a session at Knockers, I left the harness in and have been using it ever since. Mines are 3-point jobs and the strap coming through the hole in the seat, attaches to a bolt on the face of the rear seat, just about the floor. It means that backseat passengers have to straddle it, or I can just take it out. That said there are seldom passangers in the rear. The only downside is that the harness holds you tight to the chair, so reaching forward to change CDs etc. and to check for on coming traffic when situated at a junction, can be a bit of a nuisance - but all you have to do is quickly loosen the belts at the shoulders and life is fine. I love the secure feeling they give and I wouldn't like to go back to seat belts. On another note. Finally got those DEFIs of yours fitted yesterday - lovely!
  4. Brush the dust off your wallet???? You must have had it buired for a hunner years for that amount of cash to build up in it! Nice bits though! Good luck with getting all that on
  5. Aye mate, seen them on your other post. Havne't been on in a couple of days and I have missed lots of posts! Thought it was meant to be quiet in here now! I got G4RY's seats SWEEEET!
  6. I haven't had any problems with mines at all. Mind you, I had them whipped off at 20k for coilover - yeah!
  7. Indeed! However, G4RY on here sold me his and they are very similair to the ones in that picture. Just need to get the sub-frames now and I'll be cookin'!
  8. Yip, fantastic job! Lovin' the DEFIs dunno why I choose the cheaper option in the first place. Also Craig, fitting gauges to other cars will be much quicker than fitting mine because much of the time was spent taking the old ones out. So I got old ones out - new ones fitted all for the same price - top bloke and good aftercare comms as well - Highly Recommended!
  9. I usually get fed up with cars really quickly. I bought a brand new MG ZR had it 18 months then got rid for a brand new Celica, the car of my dreams. Till 18 months later I got rid for the Scooby. Had my car now for 2 and a half years and have never thought about changing if for anyother car. That said, like you there have been times when I'm not as into it and the way of curing that for me, was to change the car: not to anther car but to add a mod or two. As well as the performance of the car and how it gets under the skin and all of that, the Subaru lends its self to well to adaptability - I'm keeping mines... FOREVER!
  10. Nice one. My suggestion would have been to keep the brakes 100% and sell your wheels and buy new ones.
  11. Nice one mate! What torque did you get with that? And you got a VF34 from Jimser? What is he doing, growing them or soemthing?! I got mine from him too you see Enjoy the car. I need to think about moving on, too many people in the 300 club! Do I really need two kidneys or two lungs? Hmmm
  12. Iremember you but you wont remember me! I spoke to you at Hypertech couple of years ago - I think your car was in for a 2.5 conversion... can't remember what I was there for, droplinks for something - can't remember. Good luck with the sale. It might help to post the SN link on here too mate. JW
