i have heard that there are places across the seas that you can get the stuff from which is cheaper.

with a wedding to save for and a sccob to mod i need to find the best place to buy mods for stage 1 of the tomcat2 modification. I have a 56 plate hawkeye sti. on my list of things to get is 1. spark plugs 2. uprated clutch and flywheel 3. oil catch can 4. heat wrap and ties for downpipe etc 5. oil pressure, oil temp and boost gauges 6. ported headers 7.rear anti roll bar 8. pod for gauges (carbon fibre possibly) 9. lowering springs advice on what to get makes/model numbers etc etc is greatly appreciated.

i love the sound of an inducytion kit or a cold air kit but these mean you need to get a remap as far as i know. Not really needed unless your going for big power but to me they sound great. Alternatively an upgraded panel filter will do.

both guys were running pretty stripped out cars. i even had the spare wheels and toolkits stored in my boot from them both lol.

i have some more pics/vids etc but my pc and broadband are slow so will post them up later. Both peter and Jims cars are something else. they are a credit to the club. Nanaki had a good time as well when he ditched his passenger. He was struggling to see why his times were in the 14's with a passenger. As soon as he ditched him he was getting under 14seconds. Both jim and peter have some areas to work on and am sure that with a wee bit of practise they will be getting even beter times next time round.

Well a good day was had by all today at Crail. Some very good times were put in and am sure the pleased parties will post up soon. the day went without too many problems although it was tuch and go on the way up with one of the cars but i will leave that for the man to explain. The sat nav took me and the mrs on the tourist route and we ended up at Crail about 45 minutes before the fast convoy (ok they did have to stop to fix a problem lol). I am posting some videos up on youtube and will put links to them when my pc decides to wake up. Oh and the weather was scorching. On the way back home me and the mrs stopped off at Anstruther for a wee fish supper and bumped into a mini "Thistle Run" which had taken over the only carpark in the place. did you put an uprated clutch in your monster when you got it fixed John?

sorry to hear about the news but am sure you will get it fixed and as a lot of people say "if it breaks upgrade it"

i would recomend meercat as well. They taylor make the system you want to whatever sound/loudness/look you want. Speak to FAI17 as i am sure he will help you get a good price.

the new wheels are looking good. I wish i could find someone to swap my hawkeye gold STI wheels for a set of silver or gun metal ones or even black.

bet the front mount and the bigger turbo are already in the house of Jimser waiting to get fitted. Well he has had his house full of mods for the past few months so it will feel strange having floor space again.

think we should be starting a book on when the front mount is going to get fitted lol. car is looking good. you need to get some pics up of the interior or lack of it Jim. Will be interesting to see the slim jim seats fitted in it. am gonna have to go on a diet to get a pax lap with you.
