Full meercat system is the way to go or even just their sportcat downpipe. I have heard lots of good things about their sportcat downpipe and am positive Welsho(john) has one on his rocket. I must admit i am tempted by the sportcat route when i am changing the downpipe and will be going to meercat for this.

just been quoted 405 to do this on my car from s&s and that includes sidc discount. Why am i being quoted more?

When i started this thread i didn't think it would turn into what it has done. The amount of knowledge that ther eis on the forums is astounding and is why i asked the question. As Grant rightly puts, if you ask a company if there is a problem with their product of course they are going to say no. that is why this forum is so popular with Scooby owners. Being a novice (i mean real novice) on scoobs all help and guidance and can get from the wizards on here is invaluable. These people have been there, done that and bought the t-shirt several times over and have learned from their mistakes. It may have cost them a wee bit of money or quite a bit of money but they have learned what to do and what not to do and want to makes sure that they give advice to others to prevent it form happening to them. I thank all the masters in here that spread their vast amount of knowledge in here as without them my car would probaly have blown up several times over by now.

his backbox was getting built as i picked up my car. Didn't get a chance to meet him.

just back from meercat after getting the centre and backbox treatment and what a jod they did. Sounds great on tickover and not too loud when the fun pedal is pressed.

i wonder who it was that got my mind trained to that sort of thinking lol??????????????

would love a CAI kit but can't afford the remap the now although APS say that the 60mm one is ok without remap. Could this be true???

don't suppose anyone can tell me if a set of prodrive springs from an 04 STI would fit a hawkeye STI and if not what the difference is???????

After the meet on Thursday night and hearing a few of the cars with BOV's it has got me thinking do i want one?????????? Have never really wanted one before but now i am getting the itch to buy one. I know a lot of people run the HKS type but these are quite expensive. What is a cheapper alternative and what are the implications of fitting one?

looks like meercat is going to be busy on monday as my car is in getting the centre and backbox treatment. Dropping it off at 08:30. no doubt will bump into you at some point. The craftsmanship they do is superb. This is my second exhaust from them.

am booked in to get a cat back system on Monday at Meercat. had a full decat a couple of years ago and it sounded great. Top quality workmanship.

can you tell me how much they are taking for this as i an also looking into getting prodrive springs cheers chris
