glad you got the car sorted now mate hopefully. DCI Lee got Greers to do some work on my car when i had it and i could not fault them.

If you go for a GB270 then your only going to want to mod it whereas if you spend the money on your existing rocket and get it running properly you will also get more ponies i imagine. Modding your existing chariot would be less money in the long run.

John, I knew you would eventually give in to the calling for more crazy horses. The meercat exhaust is a great option. I had one on mine before i sold it and it sounded amazing. If i wasn't going to be selling the civic in March to get another scooby i would be getting one fitted to my civic just now but i am going to be a good boy and save all my pennies as the scooby is calling and i think it will be a nice STI hopefully in either black or white. I can't wait to you get it all done and get another pax lap at knockhill. You will find you will go round in circles deciding what to fit i know i did. Chris

What a cracking day it was today up at Crail. the sun was splitting the sky. An eventful run up and then some good times being laid down on the track. thanks to Fai17(Peter) for letting me pax for this adventure. the scooby's set some good times and one even beat the times of some of the pugs and corsas even with a gear stick that fell off half way down the 1/4 mile (you know who you are lol). Below is a friendly battle between a DCI and a stealth(WRX). guess who won

Karps, I bought a CEL Fix thing from the states if you want it. It can stop the CEL light from coming on but ideally you need a remap. just drop me a pm and i will bring it to the next glasgow meet. cheers chris

sorry to see this Kez, Some nice person scratched the side of the red rocket when it was in a supermarket car park. Luckily enough it wasn't deep and i have managed to polich it out. Hopefully you will get it sorted at not too much cost.

i ended up not going as well. Couldn't justify spending all that money on rocket fuel. I have however just got a Wii so maybe will spend the day setting it up and doing a few rounds of boxing. Gus, your 555 sounds as thogh its going to be a good un. looking forward to seeing it when you have worked your magic on it.

i have a 2 week old meercat snakehead 3" fully decatted exhaust system for sale. Will fit newage. Am only looking for £400 for it picked up. I have sold the scoob hemce reason for sale. It is a great sound from it and is the drager style exit which is nice. pm me if interested.

i got a red one. dropped in to 3rd from 6th and the car got some much torque steer as the vtec kicked in. it is so different from the scoob.

just got the beast home and wowwwweeeee. It pulls in all gears. Vtec kicks in at 6800rpm. When it does it is amazing lol. Very torquey in all gears. hope i dont burn too much rubber lol.

to start off with the car will remain standard. honestly [] My wrx did lol. It is quite quick

was talking to a guy in work today and he has already been trying to fill my head with vtec controllers, induction kits etc. He used to get a lot of work done at greers. now just planning my comeback (STI styleeeeeeeeeeeee)

i opted for something a little more sensible and more economical on fuel. I am now the owner of a civic type r. Insurance is chaeapper, better on fuel so will help me save for a wee while. I will always be on the lookout for the SIDC sticker on the back of scoobs so if you see someone in a red type r civic giving you the wave then it will be me.
