Now try to imagine her in 30 years time - they'll take ages to iron out the wrinkles every morning
-
hmmmm - explain that to Mum if she wants a lift to the shops ......
-
Loads of official piccies at http://www.marathon-photos.com/index.html - suppose Yogi can just look for Terri by her race number, or maybe go through all the numbers looking for his thrills
-
All the various RO chaps against the rest of us in 2 teams? now wait for the excuses to pour in .......
-
Thank goodness we're already booked to marshal at Lydden all day Saturday & Chrissy wants to see the horsies at the Kent Show on Sunday - otherwise I'd have had to invent an excuse You going for Blackheath? - probably loads of man boobs, but they're not the same
-
Well done Terri Yogi - You'll just have to make do with piccies of Chrissy & Tracey http://s96.photobucket.com/albums/l200/Hai...601_RaceForLife http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=116180 I bet you really had the camera, but your hands were shaking too much Well done to all the ladies who ran somewhere today, especially those who had their support crew in a scooby Cheers, David

Could have gone to Lydden on Saturday - us marshals get a guest ticket for most events - happy to make someone happy if there's a way to get it to you at often very short notice. Have to do the russian spy thing and tape it to a litter bin in a layby en route

1st Event Back Out In The Rally Car In 18 Months.
HairyDJ replied to The Guru's topic in South East England
Hi chaps - Longcross should be part of http://www.oxfordmotorclub.co.uk - the Carfax Rally. Not very well described in their web site, but i picked it up from our marshal events list Cheers, David -
Sorry Craig, but Chrissy is working & I'm busy cleaning the rental house and unpacking back into the real one all day. Down your way in a few weeks though - marshaling the Abingdon CARnival at the airfield. Have a good one folks - numbers don't matter when you get a few of the best along there

Last time I saw you in that was the RBMR day from the wharf across to Sevenoaks! We'll have to keep looking out for you now you're up and running again - we're marshalling at :- Millbrook Mon 26 May Abingdon CARnival 7th / 8th June Longcross 23rd Nov Also doing Rally of the Midlands too - various places, wherever I wake up thinks it's MIRA & Mallory at least. Maybe a few others, but need to update my list. Worth posting any of your other planned dates / venues up here so we can look out for you, or others can come and wave you along? Good luck Cheers, David & Chrissy -
Don't visit Milton Keynes then - http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=114399

Wow - half the stock has been sold already - time to start a rumour that the next batch will cost double Seriously, hope this encourages the organisers in all their efforts as well as showing the family that there will be some serious fund raising achieved before we're finished! Cheers, David

nice ones, is that the charger chewing kitty in the picture?
-
Hi Guys, If a bulk order gets placed, how do we let you know the car / contact details for each of the recipients? Cheers, David
-
good site, been on there for a couple of years or more. prices usually have a lag of a couple of days, as they are derived from fuel card transactions, not physical visits. nice to watch your local stations, but brilliant when away on your hols - not good around banbury for the Mcrea gathering though

had them on mine for quite a while - really weird sensation if you get a run where you don't touch the wipers and let all the little droplets wobble up the screen and vanish. Just like using Rain-X and having the wipers keep it freshened up The only prob I found was that when I hit the screen wash in summer, there seemed to be some problems with getting the screen clear quickly - almost as if the silicon coating and the detergent were fighting. The effect was to give me an almost cloudy smearing of the whole screen for quite a few seconds - OK if parked, but nasty at speed or in traffic. These really need replacing, so may well go grab the group buy. Couldn't get them for the rear of the wagon - just the front pair. Also found that the sweep pattern was slightly different, so hang on to the old originals to use for the next replacements if you revert later.

Ouch - wasn't the same Mondeo man that got me last month was it? Hope you got who did it & this isn't coming out of your own pocket

Bad news - welcome to the club. It's just so amazing how many folk are allowed out there and always seem to aim for a scoob. Cheers, David

Nice pics Craigy - just picked us out a few of the best ones then? Good to know that you came out tops with the organisers - it's easy for us to have an idea of how we did, but to get an invite back like that must show that we were appreciated and trusted - down to your hard work fella Sorry little Leo got caught by the sun - where's the piccies!! Top marks to "the Bucks crèche" - every time I passed by or popped in, the youngsters seemed to be having nearly as much fun as the adults who were entertaining them. Cheers, David & Chrissy
-
Oh No - bits of suspension kind of spring? or just the sort with water coming out the ground!
-

I noticed that too - I think the town tables must get updated manually / less often as that's more like yesterday's pretty weather map suggested. I think it all ought to fall on Swindon before it get to us, but you may not agree They look to have revised the midlands map forecast since my post - now suggests rain starting at 12:00 and absolutely hammering down at 16:00 - bound to change again before we get there http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/24hr.shtml?id=2939 is worth watching by teatime tonight. If it's a lovely day then we're just lucky - if it pours then we all blame Craigy
