About BAZ999

  1. After a focus st2, Astra vxr nurburgring, bmw e90 msport I'm back in a impreza. I really missed my bugeye wrx and I have always wanted a STi so I went to look at a hatch and ended up buying it. It came with some stamps from powerstation who I think and done some work to the car. The brakes need re-painting as the lacquer or paint is peeling off. I have found out it has AST coilovers, Milltek exhaust, updated roll bars and bushes, I have email them to find out if they done the work and what was done but I have not had a reply yet. Only got the pic from the dealers as weather has been rubbish
  2. Thanks for all your nice comments the spares are now in the for sale section if interested You never know in a coup;e of years I may be back in an impreza baz
  3. no not a swap just part exchanged the rest on a loan just couldn't resist only got 17000 mile on the clock and i saved nearly £2000 going to an independent garage instead of the ford garage. I will miss it too it was a hard choice thanks baz999
  4. I've decided to swap my bugeye wrx for a 06 focus ST-2, so thank you for your help with the car and also that my autogauge will be for sale and my japspeed CAT back exhaust., will post it up in the for sale section later. So if you see a red focus waving at you in bicester it will be me thank you baz999
  5. thanks for the good comments guys just wish I had fitted them earlier andy- the red/amber/green leds round the outer edges show you the read out of the thing they are measuring each led = at set percentage. i.e boost = 0.2 bar and the number part changes every 10 mins to show you the boost and voltage hope that helps you baz
  6. Got them from nick at gauge place cost about £200 with carbon pod and adapters got them at trax 2 yrs ago but as far as I know he is out of business. Andy in Bicester there is a company called RSpec who sell autogauges think they cost about £30-50. Thanks for the offer Chris next time I do something I'll give you a shout
  7. Just signed. Totally disgusted with how they treated the two soldiers. My father was based in N.I with the REME and its where I was born so was brought up int the army . baz
  8. Finally to the plunge and fitted my guages on my own with the help of a guide found on the site . The intercooler was a nightmare to get off had to do this twice due to oil temp sender leaking abit. Now just need to understand what they all mean as they use LED's and number. Does anyboby know what the standard boost should be for a bugeye wrx? chaeer baz
  9. hi i have a bugeye with morettes and my drivers side sometimes goue out as if the bulb has gone. Read somewhere that it is a loose connection to do with the relay. I use to tap the light and it would come back on so just check all the connections baz999
  10. the oil temp adapter is like a sump plug that replaces a blank one over cyclinder 3 under the intercooler, and ther oil pressure is a piece of braided hose with a brass t-piece which goes under the alternator
  11. its not a sandwhich plate its an adapter from LMA which you screw the OE senser into for the oil pressure
  12. I've fitted the boost so just need to wire that up, its the oil temp and pressure sender things that need plumbed in Barry
  13. Is there anybody who would be willing to help me fit my gauges as i'm not too confident fitting them by myself. Have seen a guide on the internet which looks easy but would just like someone is a lot more mechanically minded than me Cheers barry
  14. Will be good to finally get to a meet and get to know everybody always been working when they have been on barry
