This is true. My friend woke to find someone trying his door. He opened it and chased the guy, but lost him in a park. Returned to the house and called the police. While they were in his living room taking a statement the guy walked straight in. Mate lost it, and just went after him(he is a ex thai boxer and Mr Europe Bodybuilder) He punched him once, putting him through a door and fractured his eye socket. Next thing he knew he was being pulled off the guy and handcuffed!
He was charged with ABH!
The guy was a drug addict and the house used to be his parents. Once he came round and was off the drugs he dropped the charges.
Cant even defend yourself in your own home these days! Crazy!!
