  1. "On another note, if you do attack an intruder you must only use at a means of defense or attempt to get away on your part, anything else would be seen as excess of force and may see you in the court charged with assualt or worse. Its a funny old world and even funnier rights for criminals. " This is true. My friend woke to find someone trying his door. He opened it and chased the guy, but lost him in a park. Returned to the house and called the police. While they were in his living room taking a statement the guy walked straight in. Mate lost it, and just went after him(he is a ex thai boxer and Mr Europe Bodybuilder) He punched him once, putting him through a door and fractured his eye socket. Next thing he knew he was being pulled off the guy and handcuffed! He was charged with ABH! The guy was a drug addict and the house used to be his parents. Once he came round and was off the drugs he dropped the charges. Cant even defend yourself in your own home these days! Crazy!!
  2. I keep the car key in the bedroom, guy in work had his TT stole the other week like this. My Friend is CTR owner and he told me its so bad in Liverpool that they just break in and threaten you. One person heard them kicking in the door and called the police. They came up and beat him and his wife and took the car. It was another 20 mins before the police came!! Aparently! I have a weights bench at the top of my stairs, so if they try that with me then they had better expect some heavy weights, bars and bench to be coming there way!
  3. Still would not have done it...could still have came off. And 1000hp off rollers into wall = squished men in boot! lol
  4. I certainly would not have been standing behind that like the two gut in the clip. If that came of the rollers they are fecked!
  5. You were all brave heading up there today! I took one look out the window and thought shaft that!
  6. Stephen. Why dont you just call Paul, he has done mine in the last service.
  7. My mate has a 05 Plate with full decat and to be honest I can not pull away at all. In fact at high speed on the motorway, he has the edge. They are only just over 1.1tonne, so the power to weight ratio makes a big difference against the scoob. Saying that, he wont even entertain a wee race in the wet. He wants to supercharge it now. Dont see the point in all that power in a FWD in this country, I had a 215bhp RS Turbo and I was always terrified in the wet! lol
  8. If you have a photoshop account, you can post your pics from there! Hi..by the way!
  9. BANDIT SAID "Please do correct me if iam wrong but the roads were Loch Long (A83) is the tight one with the bumps.[ The MOD road from Loch Lomond is the one with the sweeping gradients. (mmmmmmmm) The Glen Douglas Road (singletrack) there was another but i cant mind it and breifly used on a glasgow run heheheheh " Was definatley the Long Long Road. Last time I went a blast over there got caught behind a fekin tourist bus on the way to Arrochar, then the police on the way back! 15mph all the way! Was not pleased!

  16. I look out for the usual unmarked giveaways! 2 rear view mirrors, the camera next to the main rear view is always visable and if its daytime, you can usually see the lights in the grille. Still......better safe than sorry!
  17. As I said, not had a set on the scooby yet, but will get them on the next time I need to change. I got 6 to 10k on them on the RS. The fronts anyway, but I did drive them hard![]
  18. Thats what I liked with the Yokos. They are a soft compound, although they can wear faster in the warm summers, but I put up with it when I had the RS as the grip in the wet on them was superb. Dave
  19. Agreed[Y] Not had a set on the Scooby yet, but used to put the A520s on my RS Turbo. Man they are grippy. Will look forward to the news!
  20. Not sure, I would be surprised if that was the case. No harm in asking. You could even drop a pm to Scoobyseller555. He posts here a lot. He is based at Ian Grieve Subaru in Falkirk. He has a post in the Events section under the north run if you cant find him here to pm. Dave
  21. I have used Hypertech for a few jobs, and always been pleased. They do go out of there way to help you. However, looking at you location, and considering the job in hand, it might be worth getting Alex F Noble Subaru in Penecuik to look at it. I imagine they would be far dearer, but nothing better than genuine Subaru mecahincs for such a job. Dave
  22. I'm away to drink some water!
  23. Was there for a couple of hours this morning. Take it yours was the black subaru surrounded by lots of evos? Had to shoot off at 12, but there were some really nice cars. Have to admit, I liked the evo FQ500! Dave
