  1. Debadge everything but STI.
  2. Kevin, the rear struts start knocking. If you hear a knock/rattle from the rear go to the dealers or ask someone local who knows what it sounds like to check it out.
  3. Team squirrel , lol [] Legends in their own lunch hour. Welcome to the forums and the club. Great name too.
  4. Eagles are superb. Sidewalls not as stiff as the RE050 I was using, so will be the same as the 70s too, which means it feels a wee bit "wallowy" when changing direction very quickly. But the grip in the dry and in the wet is outstanding. The wet performance is miles above the 50s. Oh and the ride quality and road noise is much improved with them too. Ten thumbs up [y][y][y][y][y][y][y][y][y][y]
  5. Can't make it tonight kids, got some plans. Next Friday is pay day though so a visit will certainly be in order on Saturday.
  6. Tempting. Very tempting. Would the new scoob not out be either the B9 Tribeca or the rumored S204 that will be the final curtain call for the "new age" before the next gen?
  7. Anyone fancy a top speed run day, and if so do we know where we could host it? Would need to be an airfield really Thinking of things we could do next year and that was one of them that sprung to mind after the thread about top speeds. Give a chance to really push your car in a controlled area. Like we've all already been doing. []
  8. Tein springs for me too. Excellent performance and looks very aggressive now.
  9. You can re-register, but that obviously loses the count.
  10. You can't. No one can.
  11. H+S Japslash box sounds the business on my new age. That's with unresonated centre and 3rd cat deleted.
  12. Welcome to the forums. Good bunch of owners in Aberdeen. Pictures, good guide here from Bandit - http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/761628/ShowPost.aspx
  13. I'm sure a run or wee get together could be organised. The scottish scoobies are never backward in coming forward to show off the fine cars we're running. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bF-d9qYafus - we also have these roads. They're even better than they look.
  14. I'm not getting at anyone Craig, especially yourself. It's good to know your detective skills are as sharp as Paisley's finest DCI Lee. Just saying we don't need another 5 page epic of hoff pictures, workmen in butt-less chaps and superheroes in rather tight outfits. He's already been dealt with in a way that only a forum with a decidedly Scottish sense of humor ever could. Lets just hope he turns up at crail, so he can be dealt with Blue Thunder style []
  15. James May says he's talking - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5371556.stm Fantastic news for the wee fellow.
  16. It's up the page Peter, you crazy man - http://www.psi3.co.uk/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=4
  17. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-Subaru-...emZ110032578324 Guy that I bought from. Also sheep, Rallye6, Higgy and maybe more?
  18. JohnSt, do you really NEED 4 Imprezas and a Legacy? Stupid question. Of course you do. Everyone does.
  19. Chaps, we went through all this before. It was entertaining at his expense and enjoyable to vent at what was either a very poorly thought out impostor or someone who had dellusions of adequacy, but it was probably quite near the limits of the forum guidelines. Thanks.
  20. http://shop.sidc.co.uk/index.cfm?cat_id=2 - In there. Well worth it for the excellent quarterly magazine, stickers for the car, discounts at dealerships for servicing etc., discounts at a few suppliers for parts when you mod it. Not if, WHEN. Also the general sense of well-being and self satisfaction that comes from being in the SIDC, recently crowned winning car club, on track, off track and combined at the Crail Ultimate Car Club Challenge.
  21. Remember and clarify locations everyone. Airfield, testtrack, that visit to the Autobahn, Knockhill, Crail etc. Speeding on the roads is not and will never be condoned by the SIDC. Edit - you never know who reads the forums too.
  22. Good price! I got mine for pretty much that (£165+£15 postage I think) from an ebay shop in the USA. Took less than a week to arrive, marked as a gift so no customs, and has been on for about a year now. It's the business.
  23. 140 GPS, 148 R-Vit, ~150 Speedo. Ran out of private runway and guts, but it was still going. Not bad for a lumpy new age WRX. Oh and it was still extremely well behaved at that point.
  24. This is really sad, but I wanted to work with computers since I was about 8 years old. I'm kind of living my dream. Except it's not really that exciting at all, and everyone and their mother works in IT now. Well I say it's not exciting, but some of it is. I still get a kick from developing something really clever and innovative or solving really hard problems. Data structures in particular I find really interesting. I've got a ****ed up mind and a really short attention span/borderline ADD, and I need a good problem to solve to focus my attention, which is why I check the forums often when I'm bored. But hey, I always wanted to own a fast car. And one day I will.
  25. Peter, was talking to Jim earlier and he sounded mighty impressed by the chinese 400. Although you sir are a bad man for doing SEVENTY on the motorway. tut tut. []
