    I did the Rally one and it was really good fun, but at the time I had a 1.8 Vectra with chronic understeer, so getting a shot in someting with a bit of oomph and RWD was a treat. On reflection - the Impreza is quicker. I personally would have issues with the single seaters as I'm 6 foot 4 and have had one too many carmel wafers.

    Try £155K! Astounding. Taking out the very generous £50K there's still 100K raised since Wednesday. That's immense.

    Black "54" plated MY05 WRX. Carbon Fibre GT style Rear Wing, front splitter, Tein springs so rides VERY low. And it's quite noisy too. [] The perfect car for the shy retiring type.

    The modding bug is very expensive, but very enjoyable. I'm just down the hill from you guys in Bothwell, so if I spot any silver 06 WRX then I'll make sure to wave.

    I believe the only hole differences in any of the new age boots are those between STI and WRX. STI has more for the larger spoiler. WRX has 5 holes, 4 mount + 1 for brake light cable.

    Don't know what you'd done John, but the forum was broken and no one could reply to your post, so I fixed it. Don't really know about the two cities or that area but we have a very active comunity of Impreza owners in both areas and you're not that far away from Crail for the 1/4 mile racing and KNockhill for the trackdays.     Lines are very very similar to the spy shots from last week which were heavily disguised. I didn't like the spy shots, but I'm liking this.

    All I'd say about picture resizing is make sure you have the button ticked that keeps the aspect ratio the same so it doesn't go all pixely and broken. I'm running 1600x1200 monitor here, so any size is good with me. []

    Sounds like a good plan to me Wuz. Although for my trophy I'd said it was straight up lights to line racing, but for the purposes of the top times it's got to be based on times alone.

    Damn right we could. Location is the only problem really. Could Crail be configured for it, or is it just too bumpy anyway? I guess trying to get an airstrip for the afternoon is the best answer. RAF machrihanish is the longest runway I can think of.

    If he's not in the club then let him know. The more the merrier. Plus discounts at restaurants are always welcome [] Cheapest way is to get a second hand backbox of some sort. That increases the growl, but is fairly warranty friendly as it's easy to swap back.

    Think the change just needs to be made on the WRX. The better hose is part of PPP on the WRX and is more free flowing. Which allows a bit higher boost.

    WRX needs an Uppipe too as there's a CAT in it. But do that + what ally-b says (maybe not the green filter, see what Andy F recommends) and you'll be laughing. My plan is to finish the decatting, fit the prodrive IC hose and a better fuel pump then get it remapped. Maybe fitting a CAI too. And that's an 05 WRX.
