Looks painful Vicki. I'd definitely go see Citizens advice and see if they can offer you any help. It's free and it can't do any harm. Even see if the ambulance chasers can offer anything. I know they don't have the best rep, but it's a lot of money.

Never used the stuff before but would I be right in thinking that on a trackday or visit to crail etc. then adding some would be a decent idea? If so then what kind? Dastek have some good prices on them but I don't know if I need just the Octane Plus or if the CVL Turbo would be a better bet. OP is obviously cheaper and seems to just raise it by a couple of points which I imagine is what I need in my car (05 WRX with minor mods and not mapped to run funny fuel). Or should I just switch to Nitro methane? []

What specification is it at the moment? Decat, mapped, any handling mods?

Yellow is permanent 12v supply. Wire it to the yellow on the adaptor. That is required for keeping your radio presets etc. The yellow on my pioneer has a wee box inline with it, like a fuse perhaps. Also when wiring up my defis I didn't do it right the first time and the problem was I hadn't wired it in to the permanent 12v supply, which was the yellow one on the adaptor. So go for it.

Saw one in Uddingston twice now and one of the times there was a lamborghini murcielago going the other way. Silver SLR and the Lambo was black. I'd have taken the lambo as it looked stunning in black.

John, what would need to be done to arrange PLI cover for an event like this under the club's own policy, or is anything beyond the realms of show and shine outwith what we can cover? Fair old trek for the day for everyone so might need some accommodation possible for a wee cheeky weekend next year. But sounds like it could be a good idea. Great run to and from it and then some fun whilst we're there.
