  1. You need to be a full paid up member to get teh avatar, but you can post pictures from photobucket without it.
  2. Backbox is too small.
  3. 20 is about my average these days. 30 on a motorway run unless I put the foot down.
  4. That's the one I have Fee, in that colour too. I'll let you touch it if you want [] Kartboy do a nice one that's quite similar looking - http://www.psi3.co.uk/index.php?act=viewPr...mp;productId=15
  5. Might make it through. Can't usually get a parking place at work on a Thursday though. I will have a think.
  6. I enjoy the feel of cold hard metal. Prodrive Gear Knob for me. Link - http://www.prodrive.com/products_level2.html?id=43&p=12 Got mine off Jamie when he was in business for a great price. Lost the wee P sticker off the top now though [:'(] Much better feel than the leather momo one that came with the car.
  7. You'll need to add in a Pod to house those which I can't remember the price of. I got my genomes from here - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Subaru-WRX-perfor...sQ3amesstQQtZkm - that's the colour matchign STI branded ones that higgy has. He got them from the same guy as me.
  8. Lucky boy Scott. Spa and The ring, quality. Good luck through Eau Rouge! I've never fully understood wheel offsets but the stanard STI rims on a new age are 17x7.5 with 53mm offsets. PCD is 100 for all Imprezas except the 05 and 06 STI which is 114.3. Have a read here and maybe that should help - http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=335263
  9. I think a flocked dash is flocking marvellous. I do actually like them all jokes aside. Probably easier to keep clean than the plastic fantastic dash too. Or should I say it will hide the dust better.
  10. Can you flock a wheel WUZ? []
  11. Is Millers 10w60 still the choice? Or was it 15w50? I can never remember. I need a change pre-knockhill.
  12. Peter, can the reserves not get takeaway and sit in their cars outside? lol
  13. lol. Have you secured a secret hiding place to store the parts before they all get fitted, then somewhere to hide the bits you'll be taking out? You can pass off the noise or performance as "it's only your imagination dear", and a remap isn't a tangible item, but pipework lying in the garage will always get spotted! And don't store it in the boot as you know what that leads to.
  14. I've not got a VHS player. I wish I could understand Japanese too.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHQa3j-19kE&eurl= - parts 2 and 3 are linked on there too.
  16. The rally one - you do 3 full loops of the track ont he outside of the circuit. So that's up then stop then back down again. Then on your 4th time up you get scored on your performance. Then you stop at the end and the instructor gets in and take you back down at insane speeds. Great fun, but in reality it was fairly short.
  17. Nightmare Simon. Oh well. If it's broke shove a 2.5 in it.
  18. Craig and Craig. The chuckle brothers. I think craigwrx already has the third cat delete. Also the £55 for the upipe is cool just now, no rush either.
  19. I got mine done at Hypertech at bonybridge, but that's maybe a bit far for you. Falkland maybe?
  20. That's a "cat-back" exhuast then, which means you still have the three cats in place - uppipe, downpipe and the catpipe. You can get rid of the 3rd cat for about £100 (Gus the bus can get you one, that's who I got mine from) and you don't have to worry about remapping then. Removing any of the other two you'll have to start looking at mapping. It would give you a wee bit more power and torque. My car made 248.5bhp and 232lb/ft of torque with 3rd cat removed, miltek centre section and H+S backbox. BUT! I'd take the handling mods any day of the week. Droplinks fitted and prodrive geometery settings dialled in should cost you well under £200, and they are fantastic.
  21. By exhuast system do you mean full decat, turbo back, cat back or just a backbox? I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I was getting a WRX again it'd drive from the dealers to a garage to get the whiteline droplinks and a proper geometery geometery setup done straight away. Changes the car beyond belief.
  22. http://nurburgring.org.uk/ That'll answer all your questions. Nürbugring is the correct spelling, which should help loads. The big track itself is called the nordschleife, which means "North Loop" or "Northern Loop", I can never remember which.
  23. Run to campeltown next year v-max day or not is definitely a go for me too. Now does anyone have a runway we can borrow?

  25. 3" uppipe too, or do the headers already have some sort of tick uppipery on them? Next years my blue new age scooby is quicker than your blue new age scooby and I have this wee diddy trophy that st3ph3n donated to prove it cup is looking very interesting indeed. Although my money is still on captain fantastic.
