http://www.psi3.co.uk/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=4 Short shift, knobs and bushes. Ooooo err matron.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_y...ire/5365676.stm One of the top gear stunts was going to go wrong someday.

I think they sell uprated bushes for the 5 speed. Think the 6 speed ones are alright. And yes, you just reuse them.
-
Spacers - nope. The P-FF7s fit over the brembos. Coated - good question. Treat them with something like Poorboy's wheel stuff (forget the full name, www.polishedbliss.co.uk will stock it) and it should survive dirt and brake dust etc. a lot better. Spare - only if you're super rich as proper PFF7s cost a pretty penny, even the replicas aren't cheap. Plus you'd need to carry it in the boot as it wouldn't fit where the space saver is.

The American version of the A-Line then. I think it's supposed to be very plain (or Orion like) as it is more of a Q car than the balls out "standard" STI. I like mine with a bit of flavour though. Peter, S204 is allegedly due in the UK in low numbers (100 maybe?) as a final swansong for the current model before the 2008 hatch is introduced. Get saving mate. If you just can the SIDC discount at your place you'd make enough money out of Grant alone to be able to afford one!
-
Is that the new A line with the cheeky lip spoiler on the rear? Very Q car. Even more so than the Spec D.

"Urban" Grey. That sounds like maybe darker than crystal grey, but with some graffiti on it perhaps? Now that'd be cool. [] Aqua Blue I imagine will be similar to WR1 Blue. Seems to be available in Australia at the moment. My next one will be white though. And it'll be a Spec C. []

Try Halleys in Milngavie and see if they can stick it on the diagnostics machine for you. I'm sure someone with a clue will be along in a minute who will diagnose the problem over t'internet for you though. What model is it too?
-
The red is available on the Forester as far as I can see. Looks quite like a red used on some of the classics too.
-
You should be extremely excited. Welcome to the forums. Watch out for meets in your local area and get yourself along to show off the new car.

Captain Fantastic, you've been placed on Moderated status and this thread has been locked. You've been asked to "put up or shut up" so post up some proof and stop antagonising everyone and I will gladly allow your post to go through and remove you from moderated status. Otherwise, I guess we will be seeing you at crail. Make yourself known and I'm sure we wont all bite as we'll be very interested to see what your car is running. Regards Stephen

Jen is it one of these Dump Valves: If it is then it's an HKS SSQV (Super SeQuential Blow-off Valve). I think the superflow name is what they use for the intakes. I have the SSQV fitted to mine and it makes a great noise.

It was a joke. Honest. I guess I need to load it up with smilies. Can't infer sarcasm in plain text. That's not to say I wasn't disappointed of course. But hey, I tried. To celebrate fantastic failure I will now disappear off into the night to toss some goats. Thanks for the trees.

I don't see how I can be a "self proclaimed moderator" when a moderator has to be given moderator powers by administration. You were all more than welcome to volunteer to help the club out and manage the website, but it seems I was the only one blatantly stupid enough to even volunteer for the job. I didn't post this to get my ego massaged either. I posted it because I thought it was a good idea. I don't mind the criticism either, in fact I'd be disappointed if there wasn't a bit of ribbing. I am disappointed that out of all the messages saying it wasn't a good idea only 3 people could actually summon up good reasons (yourself included Andy, it could well be hypocritical and too much of a token gesture) not to go for it. The rest just jumped on the bandwagon to fit in with the cool kids and have a go at it. As for the second comment. Are moderators not allowed to make a joke too? A good old fashioned democracy indeed. If your face fits then they'll all agree with you.

Gumball, you forgot Goats and Winston.

The fact of the matter about publicising the club is this - it is publicised at events we attend. Which Subaru owners are likely to attend those events? Oh yes, ones already in the club. Appearing in the jap mags or wherever can only be good for the club. And what's this saying we don't need more power to do charity work? Wilky et al did a fantastic job with the RB relay and the Santa Cruise is progressing along very nicely, but there's always room to do more for charity. We shouldn't stop until we can get bono to shut the **** up with his shite. So in closing - get it right up the lot of you. If you don't want to do it then that's fine. Lets see what ideas you can come up with for bettering the club.
-
Andy, the Impreza is classed as high emissions. It is in the highest or second highest tax band. The 2.5 was introduced as a way of getting the same (or slightly more) power for less emissions to meet targets as the 2.0 was struggling unless I am sorely mistaken. I don't really care less what you all do with your cars during the week, I was just thinking we can make the CLUB EVENTS "carbon neutral". It looks good for the club, could gain us some publicity which in turn could boost member numbers, which could help us get better deals or give us more power to continue the excellent charity work we are already doing.
-
If all else fails wheel out the tired same old joke. C'mon gumball, you're better than this mate. Rise above it.
-
The intention was not for all of us to drive somewhere to do the planting, but just to donate the cash to an existing fund to make particular club events "carbon neutral".
-
Welcome to the club. I got someone who knew what they were doing to fit my gauges, and it was a good move.
-
C'mon, you can do better than repeating your weak argument. Man made objects can be crashed into also, and like Dougster says, we're not talking about planting them at the bottom of Duffus, or in the middle of your street. They get planted in existing wooded areas where they can live with all their other tree brothers and sisters.

September 2006 Run - My Executable Creation
st3ph3n replied to craigwrx's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Good one Craig. Although I was disappointed not to hear Eastbound and down by Jerry Reed -
You see Ac!D, global warming is an interesting idea. What you forget though is that with higher ambient tempreatures and lessened air density then you will be suffering higher charge temps and reduced boost. Result - a reduced scooby ownership experience. So plant some trees, keep the climate as it is, and enjoy the benefits with improved motoring.

I'm sure there's a few here that have tossed a few goats in their time JC. I'll continue with my research and spring this on all of you after we've collected money for the kids in the run up to christmas. Might I also add that trees make forrests. Forrests make great places to put winding forrest roads. Forrest roads make great places to hold rallys.
