About Andy N

  1. He is from Fife John I have managed to send that drive shaft down to York with the lads and they managed to forget to give it to Steven and bring it back here, muppets. If poss could you PM me Steven's address and I will send it down? Andy
  2. Hi John, just noticed post, Grants comment about being bumped not dropped I think was reguarding the fact that he paid the extra cost for being a trade entry which was also to include some coverage on the official DVD, because there was no DVD made Grant rightly asked for a refund of the diffenence on the entry cost,s which was declined by TOTB. I didnt see any posts mention me in the team last year unless it was a PM ?? Andy
  3. Hi all, yeah back from Silverstone and yes had a wee prob. The practice was the first time out on the legendary Silverstone so had the power right down on the car and was taking her real easy to get used to the track and all was well. On the warm up session I went out on low power then cranked her up but under full load in 4th gear going into 5th my N/S/F wheel decided it had enough and snapped 4 and a half of the five spokes WOW, bowl moving stuff I tell you, luckily the only damage was the wheel and cosmetic damage to the caliper. Thankfully John S and the guys came to the rescue and gave me a couple of wheel's to get me going. Big thanks again John and the team. I really enjoyed the whole day and was certainly worth the 8 hour drive. Back to the drawing board though as I struggled for traction on the corners, she is coming of the diet and going to fatten her up. Looking forward to Brands Hatch as I iam due some good luck.
  4. Using the PPG kit 1st>5th straight cut. The PPG gears are great it's the ppg interlocker kit and the crap std selector rods causing the problems. Box fixed now and on it's way back home.
  5. Not good iam afraid, G/box trouble this time. Managed to keep her going through out the day with some laps only getting 3 out of the five gears but by the finals I only had third gear, not even neutral. Have had nothing but bother from the box over the last year as you prob know so box is out and sent away for repair ready for Silverstone. Fingers crossed. Big congrats to John S and all involved with the car, job well done
  6. Ye, cheers mate Looking forward to the next event.
  7. Hi all and thanks for all the coms. Unfortunatly the rumours are true and I had a problem with the car after testing on Friday. The car was suffering from crank case pressure resulting in the car throwing its oil into the catch can an windscreen. further inspection and a compression test indicated a problem with number 3. We could have raced the car on the Saturday but the chances of complete engine failure were to high to risk. Never mind, engine is out of the car already and getting an overhaul ready for knockhill on the 17th. Big thanks again for all the support you guys and see you all at knockers. Andy
  8. Alright Chris, belive it or not but I actualy free wheeled over the line on a 14sec run to win as the skyline also broke his box, my times through out the day were ok rangeing from 11.5 > 11.88 , like I said earlier the ironay is that the only clear run that I managed to get third gear wasnt timed, the car I beat pulled a 11.5 on that run and I was a good couple of car lengths ahead??? balls
  9. Alright Gary, that was some crazy angles I was pulling up the strip, the transfer packed up coming of the line only giving me power to the rear. I was trying to find you before I left to tell you that a bottle of Irn Bru had been run over and the contents splashed all over you motor, fecker just took off.
  10. Was at Crail the day and won overall in the Impreza which is great but cost me a transfer box/front diff on the last run. Had the same prob as I did last crail which was not getting third gear all bar one run, the only run which Crail failed to get a time which was against an Evo 6 in the semi finals. Andy
  11. Cheers Steve, ye could do with a bit of colour. Had your old car in yesterday, still pulling like a train. Miss her?
  12. Ebay! Prob bad idea, I would end up having to fit it to a customers car next week.
  13. Hows tricks John, your cars looking great. What sump is it you have fitted? just fitted a hyperflow to mine yesterday which also (by apperence anyway) is a work of art. Was unsure when looking for a sump what to go for as your hear so many horror stories.
  14. Cheers for that John and no worries Col, it is a cracking pic.
