  5. You are very welcome mate, anytime Cheers Iain
  6. This was just a quick list though, I will add to it later a few other things worth considering. Cheers Iain
  7. Oh thanks Ed LOL Ok 350bhp from a 95' WRX, here goes..... On top of what you have done already you will need.... To fit your Front Mount Intercooler Fit larger fuel injectors I think yours are 380cc, 440cc injectors would do but 550cc injectors would be better. I am not certain what the max BHP the standard TD05 will make (Andy Forrest will know for sure) But I would suggest a larger turbo maybe a TD05 18G, or a VF34 or VF35. You may need to run a different MAP sensor so you can run over 1.2/1.3 BAR. Fuel pressure regulator. There may be more but I will keep you updated. I hope this gives you an idea of what you need to get 350bhp. Cheers Iain
  8. Good god its quiet about here lately Cheers Iain
  9. To be honest Ed I have no idea. Cheers Iain

  14. Hold up mate he uses the forums now so he may be able to tell you what it could be over the forum, then obviously advise you of what would need doing Cheers Iain
  15. I have no knowledge of this system but I know someone who might, one for mark@cotswolds I think Cheers Iain
  16. My first cars name was a bit of a contradiction, it said it was a Rapid but was far from it. It was a Skoda Rapid 135 Ric (Rapid,injection,coupe)... much like the one below Cheers Iain
  17. Has the MAP (Not the MAF) sensor been checked? If the car is starting (no smoke), idling ok, reving ok in neutral and just has no power/boost on the move, I think we have pretty much exhausted all of the possible options, its either the engine is not getting the fuel/air to produce the exhaust gas to drive the turbo, the turbo or wastegate itself is goosed, or there is a restriction somewhere. Cheers Iain
  18. I have to agree here, there would have to be a huge loss of compression for there to be less than wastegate pressure produced on a boost run, also I guess that this would also be visible like mentioned before as blue smoke or rough running in extreme cases, was the 2 psi figure taken whilst the car was on the road under load? A very odd one this but like mentioned already I bet its something really stupid and easy (fingers are crossed). Could be a fuelling issue I suppose restricting the engine output not actually the turbo at all? (blocked fuel filter/poor pump output) Cheers Iain
  19. Just had another thought could a faulty MAP sensor limit power output perhaps restricting the engine not the turbo? Cheers Iain
  20. It has got to be a physical restriction or a huge boost leak/stuck open dump valve like sparky mentioned, I would have thought that a boost leak of that magnitude would be very audible and noticable though, there is nothing I can think of electrically that would cause such a low boost output as the base turbo pressure is purely air pressure/mechanially controlled. Will be very interested in the result of this one Cheers Iain
  21. Hi fella, You mentioned in your first thread that the turbo is making only 2 psi, there are only a few things that would cause this to occur, 1. A restriction in the intake (pre filter, resinator box) or post turbo (in the intercooler). 2. A restriction in the exhaust ie a collapsed CAT or Baffle 3. A knackered turbo (quite rare) 4. The wastegate actuator linkage not being connected or the wastegate plate has detached or partially broken preventing significant spool. (this would require the removal of the exhaust down pipe to prove the condition or attachment of the wastegate plate. 5. A very weak/broken wastegate actuator spring. If all the above is ok the very minimum boost level you should see is a mechanically goverened (via the wastegate actuator) 0.5 BAR (7 to 8 psi). Because your boost level is so low it would suggest that one of the above would be the cause, assuming that your engine is ok etc. Cheers Iain
  22. It is nothing against you at all mate, I just dont want to draw attention away from this forum, if you want to see more of the things you have suggested I would be more than happy to get that sorted. Cheers Iain
  23. There will be NO seperate Oxon website, nothing you have mentioned above cannot be done within the SIDC website there is no need for a new site. Cheers Iain
  24. Just had a thought mate do the dials read in mph if so what does it read up to? What I am thinking is that it may just be the dials that have been replaced leaving the limiter still present. Cheers Iain
  25. Will have to get you to do me a new avatar mate as the car looks nothing like that now lol Cheers Iain
