  6. Hi guys I am going to make no excuses for not posting all this time but as some of you know already this last year has been a little on the dark side, me and Jenny are no longer together and well to put it mildly its been pretty tough on both of us. I now live over in Lyneham and commute to Brize, as a result of this I will have to part with White Noise as the fuel cost is just too much for me, she is already up for sale. But I have another scoob in my sights so all is not lost. Seems this place needs a kick start too, when was the last Oxon meet? Cheers Iain
  7. When is the next event? Cheers Iain

  12. Ok I can now see the RO section, I am sure that you will have this sorted soon mate. Cheers Iain
  13. It will take a bit of getting the hang of, cant seem to submit my 1/4 mile time and still cant see the RO section Cheers Iain
  14. Seeing that the gate is open whilst you are at idle backs up what I said about a 2 piston DV, in the idle position the main piston floats in the mid position whilst the 2nd piston keeps the intercooler side sealed off. I think the spare spring will make no difference, you need to change your DV to a decent 2 piston one or the factory recirc, if you want a good 2 piston DV Forge do a good selection, if the one you have fitted is a Forge (cant tell from the vid) then it should really have a 2nd plastic piston and small spring. Cheers Iain
  15. Ideally there should be 2. I think what may be happening is that even though the piston is moving to the closed position whilst you accelerate the boost pressure is leaking past the piston, do you have a boost gauge fitted and can you hear a hissing sound from the engine bay whilst the turbo is spooling? Cheers Iain
  16. Was there only one piston inside when you had it open? Cheers Iain
  17. Does it dump whilst you are driving, you dont really generate any +ive pressure in the manifold whilst reving stationary. The piston you can see moving there is the main piston, there should also be a secondary piston which keeps the DV closed off with the engine at idle vaccum. Cheers Iain
  18. I already have a good time and the car does itself justice. Cheers Iain
  19. I will see a low 11 with a set of 888s on no worries. Cheers Iain
  20. It reakons my car should be atleast 430bhp to hit an 11.8, that was with the weight of me (108kgs) included. I hate to add in that regardless of bhp the delivery, driveability, tyres, driver skill and a whole host of other variables will affect 1/4 mile times hence there were 600bhp 4wd cars at USC 2010 that could not break into the 11s. Cheers Iain
  21. Oh I can't wait Chris. Cheers Iain
  22. Bring it on Chris, bhp is not everything. 400bhp lol Cheers Iain
  23. Nice little rice rocket you have there mate. Big 'D' killer indeed lol, I will get scared when you break into the 11s Cheers Iain.
  24. You are welcome mate. If Marc's car is anything to go by then you are in for a great treat. I think Bob is very interested to see how yours goes too. Cheers Iain
  25. Just got the figures through, it ran 367bhp and 342 ft/lbs torque, for the sake of 3 bhp I would call that a 370bhp Impreza. Not bad for a Uk T2000 running a VF35 Cheers Iain
