all fixed now gave it a good clean as it was really dirty inside and it now works perfect yay

I can get hold of a spare spring so I'm going to try that as the gate is open on idle so I can only think that the spring is not doing it's job

no it dosent ump while driving if you hold the accelarator that gate is closed.when i had it open there was a spring gate blue spring setup inside

i had a company phone me up one when i was selling my gt4 and said they had a garanteed buyer who wanted to come and view the car a 5 the same day and wanted to charge me £35 for the privilage. i said if the person has seen the ad they must have my number and the can call me theirself.they had no answer ecxept but its a garanteed sale (yea right)click

totally feel for you but i would have no confidence in this car i would give it back and get my money back mate.if they are right and there has been some monkey messing about with it who knows what else has been mucked up.
