  7. cracking looking beastie keira!!! liking the wheels - and a saloon at last too
  8. as its always been serviced by grieves id approach them, technically it should only apply if the additional bodywork services have been paid for. however id like to think that there would be an element of goodwill on a 5 year old car....
  9. new runabout? got bored of the rallye already???

  15. lovely Al, top marks - you have to have one of the nicest bugs around
  16. good news mate! and thank god youve removed the temptation from me too
  17. having had nothing but 4wd cars for over 10 years means i take the grip for granted - when my other half had her integra it was quite a shock having wheelspin accelerating out of wet corners or trying to go anywhere in the snow. same story with the 330d i had for a bit as a result even the daily runabout is 4wd now, an A3 2.0tdi quattro. when the old boys x5 was in for a service last feb they gave him an alpina d3 coupe, gorgeous car veru quick, handled beautifully and utterly useless on an inch of snow
  18. http://www.exe-tc.co.uk/ have a look there, theyre about 2k though i think
  19. try both the wrx and sti, only way to be sure but bear in mind whether your looking to keep it standard or tweak it a bit - theres plenty of cases on here of people who bought wrx's and started adding bits only to realise they should have one straight to the sti - i looked at that when i bought mine, 4k cheaper for a wrx but by the time i added a bigger spoiler, bigger brakes, ppp kit i was up to the same price -without the better diffs, stronger 6 speed box, nicer interior, better suspension etc and i was paying to insure a modded car too whatever you get youl enjoy though
  20. id try and get a ride in a few cars with the setups your thinking about - i had an integra with teins, handled amazing but even on soft settings it was rock hard got bc's in my 05 sti now and run them just on the firm side of halfway (theyre 32 stage damping adjustable) so i think if you put them right back to soft theyd give a better ride than standard. certainly when i got mine they were half the price of the equivalent spec teins and and kw's,ast, exec tec or bilsteins were all a lot more - dont get me wrong you get what you pay for,at some point when i have the cash il upgrade to exectec probably but theres nothing wrong with the bc's as a budget option
  21. nice one Al,looks great! hope you manage to sneak the keys away from Lyndsay every now and then
  22. yea stick with what youve got - but feel free to drop me a line with a pruce and how hard fitting is for the wrc spoiler....
