  1. i really liked the mintex 1144s with standard discs and braided lines, the setup ive got now is ferodo ds2500's and godspeed 2 piece discs and im very unimpressed with them... as soon as funds allow its bigger caliper time for me but then i ten to be on the brakes all the time,little old lady that i am

  3. welcome along, looks like a clean car bodywork wise and nice celica, seen it about inverness would say glenburgie's the main breaker for scoobs up your way, maybe also worth a word with bitz motorsport in nairn as theyve a good reputation for scoobs
  4. ive goodridge and no problems but id have no problem putting on hel either. i put mine on with mintex pads and new fluid and definitely had a sharper more positive pedal response,woulnt hesitate to do it again!

  8. depends how long you want to keep it,id say its probably a good deal with a grand your way as said its not an 05 model year which does have better features but it does look pretty clean and it is low mileage - timing belt is because its 5 years old, clutch, remap and why its registered as a type uk are concerns though

  14. this sounds a lot like a problem i had a couple of times with my car, turned out to be dirty fuel causing a boost spike if you can clear the ecu and top it up with new fuel should be fine

  17. ok i know this is early but as its been pointed out to me that some people need to put in for their holidays well in advance id like to officially say that subject to enough interest the highland fling 2011 will be on the mayday bank holiday weekend of 29th april - 1st may once again we'l be departing from inverness on saturday morning taking in 2 days worth of driving with an overnight stop,meal and general blether. the route and overnight destination arent decided yet and there will be a proper thread in events nearer the time but i thought id give plenty of advance warning for those needing to organise time off/babysitters/supplies of incontinence bags.... there will be a proper thread in events nearer the time hope to see everyone from last year again and some new faces too
  18. by the sounds of it a prodrive box would suit you fine - they usually crop up second hand on ebay or the for sale sections here or scoobynet, about 150 should get you a mint one then flog the one youve on just now - simples!

  21. do you know what sort of exhaust is on it just now mate? or stick up a pic and we can advise you from there a prodrive backbox is pretty subtle - other option could be to get a bung made up for the one youve got

  25. i know in peugeots the sensor/resistor under the seat used to play up putting on the airbag light but no idea how youd check it im afraid!
