  1. option 3, a good p1 is an awesome car but theyre not getting any younger. if you get one and find after a year you want something newer/lower miles then upgrade to an 05 sti, best of the blobs
  2. id be game for this as long as theres plenty of run off for the handling circuit lol all for more events up here of all varieties
  3. got to agree with the above, have bc's on my 05 sti and really like them. our old integra dc5 had teins on and while the car handled well on them it was definitely a lot harder ride, much more of a thump into holes/ridges on the road which could unsettle the car. i run my bc's at the mid point on the adjustability, 16 on the rear 14 on the front i think and find them fine on b roads (though that could be me) and still plenty of scope to soften them and also mine have just come through their second winter with no signs af wear-better than subaru's struts can manage...
  4. this is for saturday lunch, midday 12pm Cathy and theres nothing wrong with my puns Del, stop carping on about it....
  5. keep them coming guys, looks like the haddock stocks will take a battering (geddit )!
  6. what sort of thing are you after mate? bodykitted, graphics, nice clean standard?
  7. 1. depends how much the extended warranty is and if its a full warranty or a selected parts only - when mine came in think it was something silly like 400 for a year. if your not using a main dealer that goes a long way 2. no idea im afraid 3. probably aa/rac as subaru just sub it out to them anyway i believe and that way your covered with anycar, just got joint aa membership homestart, relay and assist for 120 quid with some haggling
  8. haha nice to have a second scoob to fall back on! hope its nothing too serious though

  11. todays been one of those days where i fell in love with the car all over again usually use a diesel for travelling to and from work but for various reasons used the scoob for my commute today, left home at 06.20 with lovely sun and dry roads up through glencoe to fortwilliam with little traffic and nothing that held me up then at night up the a82 loch ness side to inverness where sporadic snow showers and heavy traffic reminded me why 4wd and lots of turbo'd ponies are such good things used 3/4s of a tank and partially deaf but still grinning
  12. like the nike advert says, just do it! do what i do, work non stop for 3 weeks to make up for it lol

  19. first off im gutted for you mate and i know youl regret it,but i can tell youve no choice id advertise it at a good price as is and see what takers you get as its a great spec car - maybe try 9.5k?. if youve no joy and you can bear to take bits off then id certainly sell the wheels, teins and ap's separately - should raise 2-3k secondhand good luck anyway and hope to see you back again
  20. im starting to think i should be inviting a whole other type of club to this......
