if the funds allow it replace the calipers, they were always a weak point on classics even with uprated pads and discs id look at prodrive alcons if you can find a set though theyre pricey for discs, ksport 8 pot setup, newage brembo's with adapter kit for classics - all value for money options with low maintenance and big performance

cheers ciaran,got a splitter sitting in the garage needing sprayed and fitted at some point.... serves you right for saving thats what overdraughts are for lol and nope doesnt do anything for downforce, didnt do much for the rally verge,rabbit or kitten either.....

i find i can rarely make it to meets in other areas as im always working away-or just plain working at 7! weekends would be much better for me but i understand im probably in the minority

prodrive springs are definitely an improvement,i had them fitted to my sti before i went for coilovers-in fact theyre still in my shed,complete with a set of shocks - i had my shocks replaced once under warranty but i believe there is a solution to this now. make sure you get the geometry properly set up as this can make a huge difference

welcome back and well done on resisting for so long now come clean on the spec,as Dipsy said thats a six speed gearknob and looks like the lifter for reverse under it which suggests more than a gearknob swap......
