  2. no way, surely not right was it really the fatboy?
  3. there was quite a nice bug wagon o n here a couple of weeks ago for about 3.5k i think, dunblane based maybe? it was in the scottish for sale section on here seemed well looked after from the ad i think that a good clean classic wagon is probably more expensive than a bugeye these days, clean classics are on the way up but good luck and you wont regret it,they really are incredible things to own

  9. no fear Barry, sep/oct sounds about right - aftr the tourist season dies down but before xmas party time, mucho cheapness signor love to make it to a lanark meet but you keep having them on thursdays at 7! finishing work in ullapool at 6 leaves me a bit short of time seriously hopefully il make one this year, just got to see where work takes me!
  10. welcome along mate, whereabouts in central are you? for garages you cant go wrong with awd in perth or hypertech in bonnybridge, not sure about the cost though but give them a ring as theyre both very helpful
  11. thanks for your suggestions everyone, after all the ideas to keep the same people coming back and bring some new faces in ok so the poll seems to be pretty evenly split, so il use my deciding vote my suggestion is keeping the fling as once a year in its time slot with a new route maybe incorparating some old bits then my plan is an all day saturday run in the borders/central area (Borders Raid?) with a dinner dance at night towards the end of the year. this also leaves room for one or two days out with several regions meeting up for a bbq then dispersing afterwards i commend my thoughts to the house.....
  12. some of the few pics i managed to snap the kilted warrior just taking a break from a nice sunday drive.... hatches made to drive on their own

  15. theres been a few suggestions of having another weekend away later on in the year which im in 2 minds about - on the one hand itd be great to do it again and im aware that theres people that cant make it in May but on the other if its done too much it wont get the numbers or be as special so can either stick to one a year up north or have a second one perhaps more central/borders based if thats not treading on toes. also a poll for the run that will definitely go ahead next May ish to see if people would be happy to use the same hotel with a slightly different route. ive a few ideas for other get togethers that im working out at the moment, so watch out.... with that in mind who's region does dunfermline fall into?
  16. glad to hear youve got your priorities right signor - molly needs you! though i think i feel a club outing to meet her and lorna's kuni kuni pig,jasper..... did the memory card survive the camera's violent demise and if so did you get the culprit that squished it? might be worth a look at your household insurance for a creative claim HEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAW!
  17. nice one James, sure she appreciates you posting that lol glad we helped you see sense Brian, your stickers were one of the funniest things all weekend. dont think you were alone,my car went exactly how i wanted it too, was really nice to have all the money and mods ive thrown at her work perfectly together. like you said cant think of anything else id rather have been driving Barry your car is definitely asbo friendly, i loooove it, melting bumper and all lol so many highlights over the weekend, nearly wet myself when graham started pointing out the window at the donkeys as we came back into inverness, cathy and her diet coke , at last sampling Imy's legendary muffins, the party political broadcast for donkey heaven, watching dale and grant shimmy round the applecross hairpins behind me, the legend that is the doctor taking all abuse for hatch and proffesion while wearing his kilt all weekend AND for sharing a room with john-above and beyond the call of duty Glyn
