  1. Cool, always good when you know you put in a decent interview regardless of the outcome!! I'm sure you will be fine!
  2. Good luck Sharon, Jus remember that if you feel nervous don't think you have to hide it, from doing quite a bit of interviewing in the last year or so i realised everyone is the same so don't stress....!! I'll keep ma fingers crossed for ya!
  3. Gus, did you take any side-on pics when the spoiler was off?? Quite like the "stealth" look!
  4. And what consumption did you get when towing then Peter?? lol I genuinely wasn't going for a "consumption" run, jus normal m-way driving, got done for speeding bout 2 yrs ago and ever since 90 is my limit.. there was even some traffic driving in and around Newcastle on that!! I generally get decent consumption anyway, for an average tank of townwork driving mostly around rush hour across the city i still hit about 24-25mpg!!
  5. Alrighty Folks, Sorry for the pointless thread but i hit the big ol magical THREE - OOOO today! Down to Newcastle for a couple of days so went down on Wednesday, covered 150 odd miles, mostly about 70-85, odd overtaking moment on some A roads at about 90 ish, don't think i went near three figures at any time. Covered about 20 miles in and around Newcastle, all in traffic, headed back up today and filled up after covering a total of - 258 miles took 39litres.... Totalling 30 mpg!!
  6. How you finding the Parada's Fastscooby?
  7. GT, is that the p zero's you mean for the £260 supplied and fitted, got confused between them and the Parada's which have also been mentioned.....
  8. Was it £276 fitted? Don't wanna start another one of the "which tyre is better" discussions but.... Which tyre is better (lol) Parada 2 vs t1-s? Cheers Chris.
  9. Ok cheers guys... Not 100% if i'll do them now but if i do i'll go for painting the whole thing followed by using a sponge or fine brush for the raised white part... Thanks for the tips!
  10. Looks pretty good, did you just take your time with the letters / lines?
  11. Alrighty Folks, Something i've done on most cars and i'm looking to do the same on my bugeye WRX as their a bit tatty looking! Only thing is with the Subaru writing / lines on them which are raised i wouldn't mind doing the caliper black and the writing white..... anyone else done this and if so how did you do it, mask the area?? Bearing in mind i'm very pedantic and would be upset if there was a tiny deviance from the line lol.... Cheers Chris.
  12. Rear Wiper although my last car didn't have one either so i'm coming to terms with it (that and rain-x helps!) Squeaks and rattles - TBH i've nearly cured them all now so its not as bad, one slight intemittent noise at the mo but i'll track it down!!
  13. Yeh i bought a Green Filter with cleaning kit off a GB on Scoobynet, was just about £40 delivered..... very slight diff in induction noise....
  14. Clicky1 Clicky2 Clicky3 Clicky4
  15. Can you maybe connect up a meter to see what charge the car is producing, from memory it should be somewhere around the 14v mark but i may be talking pants.....
  16. Old Kilpatrick, jus across the erskine bridge!
  17. When i was getting mine changed i got the dayco one, was about 40 cheaper and the mechanic (a mate) said thats what they always use and they are the exact same spec ...... Up to yourself though....
  18. Even the 320 has the 2.2 6 pot, my bro has one and altho its not that quick it is a lovely car, Sounds superb..... ! MPG is high 20's which ain't great but he has his converted to LPG which returns a money equivalent of over 45 based on current gas vs petrol prices...
  19. Think i'll have to try your grub sometime as well Pete..... can't beat a good chinese curry!
  20. Aye life is tough!!
  21. I wonder where you could have possibly seen me Doug!! lol Is that your (well the Mrs) new shape civic thats been sitting there this weekend? Wasn't sure about the new shape at first but its steadily growing on me!! Quite fancy the new type R!
  22. I can't keep track of your wheels / car selling / not selling..... too confusing for me! Good luck wi the sale anyway!
  23. 20 miles a day is a realistic target, i was about 19 at the time, reasonable fitness, carrying the pack was a bit of a killer on my shoulders at first but being an ex army man you should know a lot more than me about that!! If i was doing it now i would be aiming for 3 days but thats jus cos i'm becoming obsessed wi diet, fitness and the gym jus now....
  24. Yeh, i was wearing trainers as well, ended up wi a few blisters although it wasn't too bad, would deffo wear proper broken in walking boots if i was doing it again though!
  25. I would deffo recommend the west highland way as well, done Milngavie to Tyndrum (60 miles) in three days then we gave up as the zip in our tent burst and i woke up covered from head to toe in midgie bites!! Apart from the midgies it is superb, great scenery, good exercise and a good laugh if you go wi the right people! Just beware of hitting Conic hill not long before Balmaha which was the end of our first day, nearly killed me!
