  1. its hard to tell from the pics but we bought 5 shopping trolley loads of stuff and had 4 separate trips to the till then out to the van the check out girls and other shoppers really loved us..... had to lift each present onto their counter for scanning, bag it then put it back in the trolley... flet like it took ages! bought a good combo of girls and boys toys ranging from baby stuff to 16 years old stuff. Another good haul this year Now we need 6 Scooby Sleighs....... CLICKY details on post #18
  2. Needing at least 6 "scooby sleighs" to comfortably transport the presents from Santa's Grotto to meeting point in Asda. If your boot and cabin will be empty, rear seats fold down and you can meet me at 1015 at Brewers Fayre Hillington on Sunday morning, post your name here. Cars with presents will be at the front of the convoy heading to Yorkhill, as they'll need to unload them at the main entrance. The rest of you will head straight to the car park at the back of the hospital.
  3. Mic, there's only me, Grant and Nanaki at the mo. If you're free then pop along, an extra pair of hands will be great look for the wee chinese girl pushing an overflowing trolley
  4. well done :kerstsmiley: thats an excellent amount
  5. assume this covers ladies wear too, £30 from me
  6. eh, small group? the restaurant must have been bursting at the seams! well done to everyone that contributed towards the money, that's an excellent result :icon_rendeer:
  7. Seems like this year's Santa Cruise isn't gaining much momentum on the forum so far so thought I'd start a separate thread for some chat. The consoles we bought last year makes it easier for us to follow that up this year with computer games. We've got a healthy sum of money so far but no way near the £4,000 we raised last year. So come on people, get the money in, presents bought and lets make an effort to spread some joy and happiness this year. oh, and there may be a little secret something turning up to our event... if you want to know then stick your name down in the thread pinned above and come along on Sun 16th to find out exactly how valuable our Santa Cruises are to the community... A reminder of why we do this.....
  8. nah its not Del's car :icon_rendeer:

  14. good stuff. They did a top job fixing one of my alloys and refurbing the set
  15. Gus, I can't believe how much fun you're having modding the forester, almost as much as fun when you had the 555
  16. good stuff, all the best Kev
  17. I don't get hassled either Usually when the neds see that i'm female they'll think "must be her boyfriend's car" and don't bother egging me on for a race Plus with the RA's high gearing and shifting around 2-3000 rpm it sounds faster than it goes and the knowledge that a slight press of the throttle will leave them for dead makes me chuckle
  18. Grist reflects on time with McRae touching stuff
  19. what an erse he'll get what's coming to him - what goes around comes around
  20. Hey Alan, thanks for that, it means a lot *hug* Yes I remember you and I even recognised Jen's face at Happendon when she came up and asked me for a ribbon. Took me a while to remember her name mind Hope you are enjoying the new home and that Hollie is behaving herself!
