  1. Sheer sweetness!
  2. I'm afraid it is actually. Steel Blue Metallic is the original colour name.
  3. Would have been so up for this, if i wasn't off to Cancun not 2 weeks after that and all me money is going towards that. Maybe i'll get to go later on in the year....
  4. If i had the car parkin space, i'd keep it! lol
  5. In other words the guy who knackered the engine is trying to get as much cash back as possible, cause he ain't claiming his insurance....probably only covered third party. The car itself has been dotting around at a couple different places for sale and priced WAY over what it's worth. An RB5 with no problems at all and average mileage should be worth about what they are looking for that one and that needs 1k+ spending on it???? Madness.
  6. Cheers fella.
  7. Each to their own mate, but remember the price you paid for the car included a warranty, so i say make use of it first. Failing that, uprating brakes and handling should always be the first things to do....power goes ontop of those items. If it's just uprated discs and pads for the standard calipers, then may be worth waiting a while till they need replaced? A good set of springs, uprated anti roll bars, rear drop links and anti lift kit with full geometery setup will all work together very well.
  8. Hey there. First thing is whether or not you have a warranty on the car? If not the worlds your oyster, but if you do, question yourself if you wanna keep it intact or not bothered about it.
  9. Thanks fellas. If you want any further details, just PM me Al, though i hope it's sold before the end of January.
  10. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=108600 It's worth stretching your budget and will always be worth a good amount due to be a UK special edition.
  11. Don't matter at all mate, as long as you get the black ones together.
  12. I presume the £70 is NOT including supplying the belt though fella? I could do it for you, if you don't mind travelling over my way....bottom of Loch Lomond?
  13. Good ridance to one of the most annoying weirdos on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! only jokin fella! Cars mean nowt when it comes to getting a place of your own. Good shout i say. Best of luck dood.

  15. You handy with tools? You'd be able to do it in a few hours taking your time and it would prolly cost you a couple hundred quid. Getting a garage to do it......a few hundred quid upwards, depending on where you go. On'y thing with doing it yourself, you may or may not get the head pressure tested for cracks etc. Most garages will do that.
  16. Sticky thermostat or cooling fans coming on intermittantly....?
  17. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=106656 Open to offers and can probably deliver up to a certain distance.
  18. If your thinking of a Blobeye STi then yes, good call, but if your only options are the 2.5 Hawkeyes, then i'd go for WRX and used the extra cash for mods. 2.5 is a totally different engine for modding compared to the 2 litre.
  19. Replied.
  20. Ain't no project, but simply a car that you can jump in and drive whenever and whereever you want to! I forgot how good a car like that was. Concerned when you heard a noise that was different from the day before. A murmor that you never realised the car had before. Constantly thinking that something would give way and you'd be left with a bill, that simply didn't warrant keeping the car. I've simply done what Kenny.S is thinking about doing, except i've stuck with a Subaru and i'm very happy. Still, if someone WAS to offer me the right amount of cash, of course i'd sell it.
  21. Lol at Stephen and Oobster has hit the nail on the head there! Anything can be for sale at the right price....even my P1 if you were interested. B)
  22. Excellent stuff Peter and no worries at all. I'll get a passenger seat sorted out with you soon enough. Venturing to KH at some point?
  23. No difference at all Peter and by getting the WRX, you can put the extra you have saved from not going for the STi, towards the mods. Being a brand new gearbox it will be fine(and has been known to be fine for a number of people running the same car, with near enough the same power) for long enough. I know how bad these boxes can be with plenty torque and i wouldn't have a problem buying a WRX to run 400/400. Sti defo looks better though.
  24. If i were you......Hawkeye WRX. Drop in some nice pistons, add some heat studs and new head gaskets. Whack a MD321T, but keep the boost low. 400/400 is easy stuff, although with a low rev limit and you'll have a VERY cheap, awesomely capable road car...........................sweeeeeeeeeeeet.
  25. They would look perfect. Still think he's lookin for too much money, especially as i really don't like the colour it's in....never seen it before.
