  1. This picture nearly cost me a very treasured possession Only other picture i got Great day, great weather, great roads and great banter Hearing Andy's WRC Machine poping through the valley was awesome and we were 6 cars away, the car sounds as WRC as it looks. Nice one Imy for organising, spot on with no wrong turns.
  2. This one here particulerly chokes me up Here The Golden retreiver is "Dora" and she probably knew that something was very wrong. Such a hyperactive wee thing with her mad compadre "Dug".
  3. I think Little Mr No ###### Hair should race for V5's against Andy. Then Andy could remove the engine from the Shunny and use it to clear the weeds from his path or maybe blow dry his quiff in the morning. Go on FFFFFFFEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  4. Ok i will take this one How about Andy down Port Seton way or Slow a$$ Andy as we call him round these parts. Anytime you fancy having your b@lls served to you on a plate just line up beside Andy at any given 1/4mile strip, usually by giving him the finger at the line is sure to get you a head start as this is known to distract him. He only does 9 sec 1/4 miles in his shabby 99 800bhp road legal Type R How about Higgy around any circuit, even if he knows the circuit or not i am pretty sure he will roast your ###### first before serving them on a plate to you. His Blick WRX only wheezes out about 505bhp and 420lbs/ft Maybe JohnSt on any bit of single track piece of Tarmac that climbs a hill will sautee them first before dishing them up to you silver service stylee. Christ knows what his car is pushing out but the fuel tank only holds about 2 gallon, the car wieghs about 1000kgs and top speed is resricted by its low gearing Thinkin Wilky for any B road entertainment you may have in mind but the thing is Wilky does not do "serving of bo1locks". His style is to pummel you into submission and then because you cant take any more beating you will cut out your own bo1locks and eat them yourself just to end the humilation. His road legal Grp A car with 420 Lbs/ft plus lightweight Millenium Falcon should have enough power to deal with the Nissan. As for any giving Motorway or A road, thats my speciality in my 90hp Yellow Peril ramming your Max Power Grannie mobile into the undergrowth and me sauntering into the distance laughing my head off as you burn in the wreckage. I sincerely hope i have put my point across or have my use of a lot of big words made your head hurt How many WRC wins did the Pulsar achieve in its short production run? Ho many class wins in the JGTC did the almighty Pulsar acheive?
  5. Colin, some rather special pics of the great man you have there. Even heroes can get told off by thier mum Can i buy a copy of a couple of your pics please, 1 of L555BAT face on, 1 of Alistair and Colin and 1 of him being told off by his mammy (My favourite pic of him)
  6. Very touching Andy and spot on choice of music
  7. The legend that had the 11 second UK car that made a lot of big boys cry......thats who Welcome back bud
  8. Oh yes i realise mines was the exception to the rule regarding Keighley and with hindsight, thanks Colin the rear diff needed attention, bent strut along with the weird plumbing for the fuel system and oh yes it was not a STI RA as advertised but a mere STI 555. I would still avoid them like the plague even though i may have given the impression that they are fine, they are as not fine as not fine can be
  9. Even sh@t garages/importers can sell the occasional one that wont blow up Mine came from the notorious Keighly Trade Centre at some point in its UK life and she has been fine and dandy
  10. Can highly recommend this guys work, proper old school. Seen him put wheels back round when they would have only been good for putting flowers in. Easy to find in Carnwath
  11. ......hhhhmmmm really It could damn well be as we nearly got every model of Impreza ever made in one place
  12. No no thank you sir. Your presence was greatly appreciatted by everyone and to see people travel from so far and was incredible. Imy, Nanaki and myself arrived at 12ish to see two people there already that had travelled from North Wales and the Midlands, i doff my cap to everyone of you for showing such commitment to travel so far for a great man
  13. Do not know what to add to what already has been said.............. The count of 136 cars at Happendon is a fitting tribute to the man who conquered the world. Thank you to every single of you, i tried to get round everyone and if i missed you i humbly apologise. Special thanks must go to the boys in blue for the amazing assistance in letting us do this tribute to our hero. The service was very fitting for such a great guy with the words from Campbell Roy, Ari Vatenan and Dave Richards giving an insight into the madness behind the genius. Imagine the adrenalin rush that hamster got when Colin sellotaped it to a Scalextric car for the ride of its poor wee life. Wee Johnny sounded like he was following in his father's footsteps with his grass and mud in the tractor fuel tank tale and the ride of Ari and Colin rolling down a test stage together had me in fits of laughter. I have been an emotional wreck for the past 2 weeks and today i will freely admit i cried at some parts of the service especially when the home footage of Colin getting Johnny to donut the buggy and teaching him to ride the minimoto. I am no going to lie in a darkend room for a long time Thanks again to every single one of you,
  14. The proposed route involves 2 turns, out the services turn right B7078, roundabout turn left A70, hyndford bridge turn left signposted Lanark
  15. Possible you have picked up some sediment at the bottom of the tank which could be fouling the pump, filter, regulator or fuel lines Stab in the dark really but the fact it happened at a really low fuel level may be significant
  16. The services are located on the Southbound side but can be accessed from both north and southbound
  17. Heard the funeral was today when i had a delivery for Campbell Roy up at Lanark yesterday. Could not bear to go to work today so got a last minute holiday and sat and watched all his footage and played RBR on the PC in a style he would have been proud of. So special that father and son were buried in the same coffin, god bless them both Sleep well Johnny and Colin, we will always remeber you

  19. Gotta pay for that new "Air con" unit for the resteraunt somehow boss I finish work at 5ish and should be on the road for about 5.30, all going well. No idea what time we will get there but we will get there sometime.
  20. Might be asking a but much there with regard to getting everyone out the car park in the proper order. Nice touch though and will see what can be achieved when we get there and everyone is assembled.
  21. Should be secure with some of Strathclydes finest hanging about. Lanark Auction Market is a recent built facilty with CCTV and the such like all about the place On a scale of 1 to 100, i would give it a 94. With 1 being keys in the ignition in Easterhouse and 100 being engine running on the Isle of Barra. Hope this allays your fears about security and parking.
  22. First car to lead the convoy should either be Imy's STI RA V-Limited with its McRae autographed seats and FIA laurel on the boot followed by Del's rather stunning 22b......then all the classics.....then all the Bugs....then all the Blobs ...... then all the Hawkeye's and if i can slip enough sedative into Andyjdmsti's current guradian of beast then the WRC Beast rom the east would be last.
  23. Details have been arranged but we just need the nod from the boys in blue regarding what have planned. Once we get the ok then full details of meeting place/route and departure time will be posted on every Subaru forum the length and breadth of the land Thanks
  24. Yes i do, PM me your address and i will burn a copy to CD and send it to you. That also goes for any one who wants a higher quality version and it will be free of charge or a donation to the Jerviswood trust. I have 34 hours of Subaru/McRae footage in all types of vehicles and i am working my way through them one by one. Need someone close by with a Video card to pull the braking drift at Keilder off of a VHS copy of 95 and the run through the Cul D'Turini in 97
  25. Sat for the last few days watching endless Youtube videos and realised something was misssing from every one of them. I have chosen the theme from Braveheart to go along with incar footage of Colin on tarmac, ice and gravel. Have a tissue at the ready
