  12. 2 types of Lambda sensor Narrowband which runs 0 - 1.0 volts and primarily designed for emiisions control when puttlin about town, these generally are inaccurate when you give the car some beans Wideband which runs 0 - 5.0 volts and primarily designed for tuning to give an accurate readout of the AFR leaving the exhaust
  13. Hope after they take your money they at least use the proper equipment to make sure it is safe or else you may be going back soon for a new engine £65 for a Bleed valve, wow erm is this Dick Turpin racing by another name. Not to mention the £100 to fit 4 wires to the ECU and a Bleed Valve. So 300 sheets to make the car quicker, without checking the car is not Detting its nuts off or running lean. I would go for a ScoobyECU which costs about 150 and adjusts the fuelling and timing to UK spec. This chip allows the car to run more power safely on UK fuel
  14. Not recommended unless the car is checked for fuelling and Det by someone that knows what they are looking/listening for Fuel cut on the std ECU is there to protect the engine.
  15. Noble on the M77 was a bit peeved at my old N plate up its chuffer
  16. Thinking the new STI will be a bit special to drive with the multi mode DCCD The 3 maps should prove interesting when it somes to remapping the thing for our fuel quality From day one i knew it was due to the lack of success in the WRC, gotta admire the baws of the top brass to be so drastic with thier ranges best seller's redesign just to regain the WRC title. Good on them and if i could afford to import one i would
  17. You done well, even done better than some tuning shops would have done in the circumstances. My point is that anyone can put a nut into a monkey's mouth but the true skill is understanding why the monkey needs the nut, how the monkey will absorb energy from the nut and eventually how the monkey will dispose of the nut. Have some books here if you really want to learn about internal combustion engines.
  18. Stick to the Sweet and Sour mate There is a difference between knowing what a turbo is and what a turbo does
