    That aint gonna do diddly squat, all that will do is relieve the vacuum in the tank. Remove the access panel and disconnect the multiplug, try and start the car with the multiplug disconnected and now the pressure between pump and regulator is gone. Better still do what i did and get Gordy the Subaru trained mechanic to do it
