  6. Cracking picture of 2 awesome cars Love the bit in the movie when he activates the Blower by means of a switch on the gear shift. Then it starts gulping air like its going out of fashion whilst the scenery goes very blurry indeed
  7. Amen to that brother
  8. Another likely culprit is the temp sensor When this goes wrong the ECU thinks the engine is stone cold and adds in extra fuel to get the thing going
  9. Burble is good
  10. Comments directed at mine usually start with What is it? then followed by Really
  11. ...and about 15 tanks of fuel
  12. In no particuler order and Wilky's Falcon to toddle to the shops in
  13. Thanks for registering on the site, helps when we get closer to the time to giveus a rough indication of numbers May have to phone the Caravan Parks concerned to see if any of the owners of the statics do 1 night rentals
  14. Only took you a week and you are thinking of modding Good on you ...and nice to see you back in the fold you handsome devil
  15. Remember spotting you in the very distinctive FTO back in 2004 on the Dukes Pass. You may have remembered the encounter as i had about 30 odd Subaru's following that day on a wee jaunt in the country What you need to do to get spotted is spray the WRX white and add a carbon bonnet
  16. Thats the thing mate, take your time and the right one for your needs will come along. You know where we all are if you need any questions answered. Happy hunting Dave's P1 is also a damn fine option, damn fine indeed
  17. Model reports are generally a pain in the ar$e Cars under 10yo require these to gain approval for the UK These can cost anything up to £2000 just to hire from the owner of the model report from the owner
  18. Torquey bugger as std and damn fine starting point for modding. Then again if you mod an import you would be better off buying Stuarts car as it has all the right parts Anything after Version 4 would require a SVA test prior to getting on the road
  19. I still like the new STI and i still like Jezza
  20. Coulty's If that aint an option then personally a 97 Type R is a firm favourite of mine with the 555 edition in Yellow being a recipe for moistness
  21. but then you would go a strap a Supercharger on it and go out chasing Gazelle's across the Savannah I do agree that you, Simon, are the chief nutter and you come right below the Lord of Nuttydom that is Wilky and just above Sreaming Lord Sutch NUTTERS THE LOT OF YOU
  22. At what point does the car become undrivable? I think Corsa proved last year on one of the runs it aint what you have under the bonnet it is how you use it that counts. I could run silly power through the bottom end of mine but i dont feel the need to change it. I like my car the way it performs mechanically just now and happy in the knowledge that the internals of my engine are nowhere near stressed. Good luck tae the lot ye, bunch of bloody nutters. 600bhp from a 4 cylinder engine
  23. Parking brake bit is important If someone does get into your car with the timer running then when they release the handbrake, the engine will carry on running. If you were to wire the handbrake switch into the timer then when the culprit releases the handbrake, the engine will cut out and the immobilisor will kick in
