One thing i've never had an inclination to do and that is inspect a camels crotch... I've looked at a few camel toes in my time but never a camels crotch.... [] Bit of a tangent here What if the Camel had spotted a sexy female camel and was now moist with the anticipation of some camel action Good Luck Zed

Damn right Brother -
LOL Guilty as charged My first experience was seeing McRae through a Legacy into the bushes at Grizedale in the early 90's then seeing Bertie Fisher in the Manx the same year.

If it is a std ECU then just be satisfied with a STI panel filter available from ASPerformance. The V3 STI is pretty agressively mapped from the factory, nippy booger is it not, so just keep her std and she will see you good for many a mile too come. When funds allow fit a Apexi Power Intake cone filter as this is the best for flow and filtration, decat down pipe, uprated fuel pump and plugs and fit a mappable ECU at the same time and get it mapped by god, www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk , the result will be reliable 320 hp and similer torque. Cost for this transformation is in the region of 1000 of your earth pounds. until your disposable funds reach this level service her with 10w/60 oil or 15w/50 if you are going to track/drag her every 3000 - 4500 miles and use a STI panel filter. AND FOR GOD SAKES DO NOT FIT A DUMP VALVE, the std one does the job more than well enough, if you really want the whooooooosh noise fit a soda stream to your pax seat and have the benefit of a refreshing drink whenever. Your engine and bank manager will thank you in the long term. Hope this helps Rats ar$e out of a drainpipe

Also try Japcar in Hythe http://www.japcar-uk.freeserve.co.uk/ Got an engine from there in the past and also one for another member on here and both are still going strong. Think it was about 850 delivered

Yes block them off for the moment. It is possible for the Directional valve to be leaking I really need a look at a MY98 to remember how it feeds the air around that part of the engine, where are you from?. The Carbon Cannister is not crucial to the running of the engine and can be removed safely, the directional valve is there to stop you blowing positive boost down the hose and pressurising the fuel tank.

2 belts behind the rad are for the Alternator and Power Steering on one and the Aircon on the other. The Alternator/Power Steering is the larger of the 2. Unless of course your car does not have Aircon then the only belt you see is for the Alternator/Power Steering. The lock off for the adjustment is 90degrees from the adjusting bolt

Best day at the Hill in ages, weather was pants then it was great then it was pants then it was ok. Gobstopper was awesome both static and in motion The Autosprtif car was stunning and the old man still kens his way roon the Hill Zen car was way tooooooo quiet Dynamix, loved the showboating in the rain My Yellow wagon looked good on the stand and was used to great effect in both a cooking capacity and a spectating capacity Great turn out for the SIDC Can i get a wee shot of your trike mate, that looks like a great invention. Will it fit my bed for the purposes of getting to work in the morning and i told you i would get your mate out on the track i hope he enjoyed it Loved this RS2000 Loved this bike helmet Bloody knackered, have really sore legs and have dribble stains all down the front of my jacket from seeing Lord James of the McRae -

Sounds like an air leak at idle The filter you are showing is a Carbon cannister, it traps fuel vapour Not sure about the UK98 as i have a JDM 96, mine has only 2 coming off the Carbon Cannister and i am not sure where the 3rd one goes but it sounds like a hose is split between the manifold and the Cannister. A split pipe coming off the manifold to show less of a depression reading on the Commander if it after the throttle body. At idle it should read in the region of -550hg so your -200 odd is showing air is getting into the manifold area through somewhere and more than likely it will be via a split pipe
