  1. Was thinking about getting my wheels done in this colour but wasn't sure how it would look on a blue car. I think it actaully goes pretty well, makes a wee change from the gold. As for graphics. not everyone's taste, granted but some tasteful and subtle graphics is a really cheap way of making your individual. Less IS more, but none is less... if you see what I mean Anyhoo, the car looks good.
  2. Wits under there? Huv a goat stuff under ma bunnet?
  3. Pure utter minted man! LOVE it! Cannie whack a white Scoob with black wheels. And white is the best colour for the Bugeyes. Some very tasteful mods, making your car individual and eye-catching. Great job!
  4. You have mate... Greers! Ha! Sorry, couldn't resist!
  5. And no before and after pics??? What's this place coming to! Come oan, get the finga' oot! Post pics
  6. Nice car ma man, even if it is one of those older style ones! Oh, and GREEN is always GOOOOOD!
  7. I'm not having not having a dig either but I can hear the cries of your car saying, "LOWER ME! LOWER ME! PLEEEEEEAAASSEEE!" Car is looking swell and once slammed it will be meaner and more aggressive.
  8. Should be mate. I got a couple of wheels changed on my Celica at its first service when the coating on the wheels started bubbling. Let us know how you get on.
  9. Looks much better, but that is down to other non-standard additions as well apart from the front and rear styling. There's tints, cool wheels, its lowered and some tasteful graphics. I think the addition of the kit alone still wouldn't look that great.
  10. Looks like Bo Selecata G.Mac if you ask me
  11. Please explain. It thought stiffening the rear, would allow the back end to be more planted. I have droplinks link front and rear 24mm ARB (middle setting) ALK and coilovers (Tein SuperStreet). Last two times out at Knockhill, the back end was snapping round on me much more than it ever did, totally lost confidence in it now. Mind you, the last two times at the track, I also had different tyres front and rear. I had Faulkens on the front and RE070s on the rear the first time around, and then I swapped them around the following session, but with similiar results. I was coming off at parts of the track were I have never come off before, most annoying.
  12. That alread happened with the 08 model mate
  13. Yeah sorry to hear about your car mate, similiar thing happened to be a few weeks ago. Like you, the person payed up, now its just the inconvenience of being carless after I put it in to get it sorted. Thanks for the lesson, though I would never leave my car with anyone! Well maybe if they took out their own insurance for it. Sorry to hear about your mate as well, surprised no one mentioned that, that to me, would seem to be the greater tragedy. Hope something shows up on the job-front soon.
  14. Well its a whole lot better than ZERO bhp Just got the cash from the girl today, so I'll get it booked in this week Shut it you!!!!
  15. Running grand mate, thanks. Just got new tyres, alignment done, cross-threaded studs all replaced, a suspect bearing sorted out and a service. That, on top of getting my seats, harnessess and DEFIs sorted - yeah baby! Feels fantastic on the road, I love it, love it, love it! Trouble is, 340bhp is soooo last year! Bummed!
  16. I see, why dont you buy it and store it if your worried about issues while running with it?
  17. Why dont you just wait till your getting mapped, then fit it then?
  18. Well that is certainly something different. Love the wheels, the body kit, spolier and colour. Just not set on the side-mounted graphics. Certainly a head-turner - outstanding presence and spectacle. Looking forward to seeing this up close! Enjoy it mate! EDIT: Oh yeah! The seats and harnesses - Yeah HUH!
  19. I have a tap and die kit if you need to borrow it mate. Your wheels will clear the Brembos, but in my case there was only about 7mm clearance. Then agian, my wheels are PFF7 copies.
  20. Good grief! A decent set of PF pads from AS Performance cost me £115. Therefore, in general terms, simple math shows a fitting charge of £125 for an hour or an hour and a half work at most!
  21. Good news! Glad to hear it Duncan was telling me all about it on Saturday when I was in. Good luck and hope there are no more untoward mishaps of the engine-popping variety. JW
  22. Thanks! Yes the countryside one is mine too. I teach computing at Reid Kerr college.
