VBH quite the crowd puller saw this bus on the way home - wouldn't be my first choice for a company name. I downloaded some free merging software to do an animation with these pics, can anyone take away the backgrounds for me?
Big Gordon Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Ok, here are some of my efforts And a wee pic of myself and my son with the great man himself. This was taken at Lanark motorsports show last year and was one of the proudest moments of my life.
corsa Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 OK, heres a few from me!! the 3 22bs together. And the last one only the auctioneer knows what happened in the bushes???
scouk Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 (edited) OK My turn... can't believe it's been 2 weeks since the Gathering.. Still clear memories in my head! All set and ready to go! Meet Point on the Saturday morning in Livingston The road to Lanark! - P.s. Those fast crests nearly made me sick! Nice road though The Bumble Bee! Count the SCoobies! 1....2....3....4...5....5....5... Ah sod it! LOTS! Memories of British Rally Champions! I wonder why? I think the Serivce Station was a little full.. Marshall Debrief at Banbury! Well Done Guys n' Gals! Where's me Bolt Cutters! One for Imy Is that a camera on your boot lid? or are you just happy to see me? I guess the SIDC must have been there then.... There be scoobies as far as the eye can see! - That'd be my bro's RB320 at the front of the 'C'! Afternoon Officer! "Ahh yes, we've had reports of a noise disturbance in the area and were here to hand out ASBO's!" Mr Lapwoth (Still gutted I never saw VBH) Incase anyone needs a reminder of why the event took place.. Had to get this shot My biggest regret? Here's an old photo from 2001 at the first ever rally event I went to.. That's The Great man himself driving the course car a the Spey-Side stages.. Sadly this is the closest I ever got to meeting him... I've got a whopping 289 photos here if your interested: http://www.scouk.net/gallery/2008_mcrae_gathering/ Or jump to the key points: - Livingston - Lanark - The Journey (including Mid point service) - Banbury - Warwick Edited September 13, 2008 by ScoUK

andy Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 This video was posted on my other website (yes, it's even reached the far-flung world of Motorcycle Trials.) I tried to count the cars and got to 272, but missed a pile when I realised they were spread over all three lanes. I was a bit gobsmacked TBH. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/WOW-Col...27.htm?Ref=Blog More importantly - read the 6 pages of feedback to the vid. All totally positive...
micra_wrc Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 so that would be me in the inside lane then... about 01:00 into the clip you can see me flash the lights and also spot the aerial from my CB on the roof - thats how I knew it was me clicky for YouTube vid
