  1. I'll be sure to look you up when I swing by Perth.... It will probably be towards the end of "winter" though, so I'll be wrapped up, due to the temp dropping dangerously into the mid-20's there. [][H] Have a great time Ian. [] Cheers, Grant
  2. Was a good day... if a little cold to begin with?! [] Not quite the power I got at Star, however, I place a little more faith in the Dastek Rollers... still happy though, book power is 204bhp. [] Col666, it was no problem giving you a lift home mate, just wish it had been in better circumstances.. really hope you get things sorted out quickly and easily. The car looks sooooooo nice, its a real shame about the problem. We'll have to meet up for a couple of jars when I come back. [H] Cheers, Grant
  3. Yea, got a lump in my throat after reading that too.... I'm so sorry to hear your bad news, you did the right thing mate. [] Cheers, Grant
  4. Oh... I'm afraid that shoes arent quite my speciality, I would go with heeled but to be honest you'll want to PM a guy that goes by the name Johnny50 on here... [][] I'll make sure that I keep an eye on the website for updates. [H] Cheers, Grant
  5. I'm glad I brought that brown handbag to your attention Carl... Imagine what you would have done if you'd been seen with it?! [] As I've said, it looks great... and I'm standing by keenly waiting for the work to begin. Manifold first?? [H] Cheers, Grant
  6. Really nice car... I like Scoobs in Black, and I like the subtle differences of the Prodrive Style Bugs over the normal STi Bug. [H] Cheers, Grant
  7. Hahaha, doubt a full set of Halfords specials would have done a trackday anyway!! [][] Cheers, Grant
  8. Gordon, there's a wee chav thats sneaked onto the track in his Xsara... hope he was ejected shortly after. lol!! [] Cheers, Grant
  9. [Apu from Simpsons] Thankyou.... Come again.... [/Apu from Simpsons] [] Cheers, Grant
  10. Good luck with an RA on the Motorway mate. [] Is that the one that was on SN that you helped out with the photos?? Cheers, Grant
  11. Out of those pics, I'd go for the Black Centres & Polished Lip wheels.. But I'd be tempted to get some bronze Tarmac 2's for it. [H] Cheers, Grant
  12. To be honest, I dont normally like that splitter... but that looks great on your car, possibly due to the graphics?! Nice 'plate too!! [H] Cheers, Grant
  13. Congrats, hope you'll be very happy with the new car!! [H] One of my friends is considering an Impreza as his next car, do you know if Russ will be selling your car at Eden, or will he be moving it on?? Whats the spec on your current wagon?? Cheers, Grant
  14. He's already running 4-Pots on D4WGY... [H] Cheers, Grant
  15. Jesus... thought that would have been sorted out by now Johnny!! [] No wonder nobody waves at you in Edinburgh, without that plate, you are anonymous!! [] Cheers, Grant
  16. Och crap... I was hoping that you were gonna say something like 140k, that way it wouldnt have been so tempting for me!! lol [] Cheers, Grant
  17. Pic works fine mate... Car looks great!! [H] What's the mileage on her?? Cheers, Grant
  18. Hi Strapper... Welcome over here!! [] IMO, if a car has been looked after, there is less chance of the BE going.. but you can NEVER tell, its a bit of a gamble. We had a member that needed a rebuild with a car that had been run gently all its life and had only done c30k miles. Ideally, to cut down the risk you'll want either a fresh import or a car that has been re-mapped to use only Optimax with a stack of history from an enthusiast. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to look at a few shabby examples before finding a minter. Here is an absolute stunner. Cheers, Grant
  19. Cool cool, I'll be there then... Surely that should drum up a bit more interest?! [][] I know exactly what car you guys are talking about, it just reminds me how lucky I am to have a certain degree of sense about me... otherwise, who knows, I might be prowling the streets in a similar weapon. LOL!! [H] Cheers, Grant
  20. Gordon... do you mean the "normal" place. [][][] Cheers, Grant
  21. You could always keep a couple of the bits for yourself if you were to sell... To be honest, I dont think you'd have a problem shifting it if you advertised it at the right price. [] If you were going for a Classic Saloon then you could always keep a few of the bits from the wagon... Let me know what sort of money you are thinking about, I'll have a wee ask around and see if anyone round here fancies it. [H] Cheers, Grant
  22. Good to see its sorted out, within a day?! [H] Hope the car is going well apart from that Mikey, you decided to stick with it for a while?? Cheers, Grant
  23. Iqy, I saw you in the queue to race a few times... never managed to catch your eye, and thought it might confuse you to see a random waving from a BMW. lol [] Gordon, you're right... I was pretty happy I beat the 328, dont think the guy was too happy when I told him it was a Diesel that had just smoked him... I even gave a comedy blip of the throttle to prove my point!! [H] Cheers, Grant
  24. Its alright mate.. to be fair, you wouldnt expect a member of a Subaru Owners Club to be farting about in a BMW Cabrio!! [] Yea, (p1ggm) Gordons car was sounding great today, I can confirm his car kept sounding nice all the way up the strip... never got any quieter either, even though he kept pulling away from me!! [:$][] Cheers, Grant
  25. That looks sooooooooooo clean, that Halfrauds stuff is good, used it before. To be honest, from the close up pic, I want that impressed with the cone........ but then the pic of the whole bay shows exactly how big it is!! Well impressed mate, top bit of kit!! [H] Cheers, Grant
