I'm a Chevrolet Corvette! You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do. Cheers, Grant

There are lots of variables if you go down this route... for instance, the dealer might have had someone come in a couple of days before and tell him that he's got 16k to spend on a P1, in which case, you might be offered 10, or maybe 11k for your car. [] IMO, its worth a shot advertising it for free on the internet, places like Scoobynet, SIDC and Pistonheads are all free.. and have proved fairly helpful when I've been trying to shift cars... Selling to the dealer has got to be the last resort, even trading it in will give you more bargaining power. Cheers, Grant

Ditto... I know lots of enthusiasts that rave about the service they get at Eden and you can see why now.. [H] Cheers, Grant

That is VERY cool.... I am really impressed by that, top service guys!! [H] Cheers, Grant

Apexi Power FC Supplied, fitted and custom mapped £750 Apexi FC Commander handset £80 Took that from Andy F's own website.. Which can be found here. It will definitely make a difference and you can also ask to have the car custom set-up to your driving style, eg: big midrange grunt rather than top end power etc. IMO, it also removes the worry of any engine problems happening which is worth its weight in gold because finding replacement short motors and someone to fit it for you wont be a cheap exercise. [] The car looks great, as I said, looks like its had a fair amount of money spent on it.. on quality kit too. [H] Cheers, Grant

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's everytime for me... Have never let me down and never failed to surprise me how much grip and control they give you, especially in the wet. [H] Cheers, Grant

Very sad news... thoughts are with the family and friends of everyone involved in the accident. Cheers, Grant

Starting to take shape mate... [H] Cheers, Grant

Thats bloody scary!!! [] I know the car is probably out of Warranty, but surely Subaru must take some of the responsibility here?? Good on Russ for bringing it to their attention anyway. [H] I'm just glad it was only at 25mph and that you pulled over ASAP mate. Doesnt bear thinking about what could have happened.. Cheers, Grant

Ok, I'm confused... Before anyone else says it, I agree, it doesnt take much!! [] From your pictures, it looks like you have a MY02 Blue-Black Bugeye STi Type UK and a MY98 UK PPP with a sh@tload of Prodrive/Aftermarket Goodies fitted to it.. I just dont see two Bugeyes, no matter how much I squint!! lol!! The car I think you are calling a Type UK, is the Blue MY98 UK Turbo.. Looks like a bloody nice base car to add a few more mods to and from what I've read/heard about the guys at Greersport, I'm sure they'll keep you right. If it is a MY98, they are right, you dont want any sort of 'chip' on there at all.. however, I've not heard of a 're-map' for a MY98 ECU that proves better value (BHP per Pound & also adjustability/safety-wise) than an Andy F Apexi Power FC jobbie. In fact, I can only think of two places that sell a 're-map' of a MY98 ECU and thats Powerstation in England and Dastek in Dalgety Bay.. again, I'd go Power FC rather than either of these places. Welcome to SIDC though, you've made a good decision joining, all you gotta do is get yourself down to a local meet and introduce yourself now!! [H] Cheers, Grant

Happy Birthday Rosie... [<)] Cheers, Grant

Thanks for the best wishes guys... I've added my e-mail address for those who would like to get in contact while I'm away or for peeps that are out there and would like to try and meet up for a pot or two on the beach. [H] Dave, will more likely be in Brisbane around June time. Not staying in Sydney too long when we arrive as we are planning to be there for New Year. Would be great to meet up for a VB and a chat.. [] Cheers, Grant (grantfarnan @ yahoo.com)

...well, as I'll struggle to get back online after now/tonight, I thought I'd say goodbye now. [] I'm sure that some of you know, because I remember telling you.. I will be leaving the beautifull City of Dundee tomorrow at around 11am to fly to England... Then will be leaving Heathrow at 10pm on my way to Bangkok. [] Spending a couple of nights in a Hotel in Bangkok, then flying to Ko Phangan (sp?) for about 10 days while the Full Moon Festival is on.. some of the pics look awesome and I'm told that "The Beach" was filmed in the area.. so I'm looking forward to white sand and clear blue water. [H] We'll then be landing in Sydney on the 17th March.... Will be staying with my cousin for a fortnight and living the tourist lifestyle whilst in Sydney, seeing the sights etc.. Then we'll start moving up the East Coast.... and we are trying to cover most of the main areas of Australia in the year we are there.. Ending up in Sydney at the end of 2006, to see in 2007 @ the Harbour Bridge/Opera House. [H] Anyway, I'm going to try and nip onto the net and upload some pics of our progress at least monthly, if not at slightly more regular intervals.. I will also try and give you all updates about what we've seen, where we've been and how we are getting on in general. So, the way things stand just now.... You wont see me until Summer 2007. [] [] Cheers, Grant

Good good... Got to release the Flat-4 rumble, Ninja is a really nice B/box too... Suitably large, but still more subtle than a Blitz or Afterburner. [H] Cheers, Grant

How do you know it was Number 18... is there an external numberplate as well as the one above the gear gaitor. Cheers, Grant

Looks good mate, some difference.. [H] Cheers, Grant

Wasnt having a dig mate... I agree, the WR Blue Imprezas look good, after all, if they didnt then they wouldnt be so popular. [] You got the modding bug yet?? Cheers, Grant
-
Yep... I'm in the same position as you Al. Game sounded pretty bollox to be fair, but the amount of money offered was enough to drag my ass out of bed. Should have listened to my old man, he said he'd be VERY surprised if I ever saw the money. [^o)] [] Cheers, Grant

Ah, I see you got one of the rare Blue/Gold colour combinations... [] Enjoy the new car mate, its perfect weather to 'test' it properly just now. [] Cheers, Grant

250bhp might satisfy you for the 3 months.. at a push. [][] Cheers, Grant
