Not sure if you have a high/lo boost switch in your car.. but to be honest, that would be the only real advantage that a Boost Controller would be for your car on the GEMS ECU... because it will already have been mapped to give optimum performance at certain boost pressures/revs etc. Cheers, Grant

Well, thats the car sold... Only got a few hours left before the new owner collects The Castrol Rascal. On the plus side, its great that its going to someone who's going to take care of it and finish off & fit the mods that are sitting here/planned for it. Wonder why they didnt use the new models 2.5 as the base... would have thought the potential power increase would have cancelled out any increase in weight over the 2.0 unit, which would have been minimal anyway. Looks good though. Cheers, Grant

Had my S2 since I was about 18 (4 yrs)... Got it standard, bought a brand new engine from Ford, couple of subtle, reliable mods like a big FMIC and it made 167 @ wheels at AVA. I went all the way to South England for it, its a 1992 J-Reg, 1 of 8 according to "people in the know" on the RSOC. Cheers, Grant

Yes, I know the guy thats running things up there... and he's spent a considerable amount to make sure that this is a professional company and that the dyno gives extremely accurate readings. I have actually bought stuff off him before, cant recommend him enough. Truely top guy and a great service. Cheers, Grant

Scott, you might want to double check that it will be in the same format as before... because I was there recently doing recording for a computer game and they told me that nobody is allowed near the booth when they run a car up on the rollers. Apparently its something to do with Health and Safety, now, they could have been talking a load of crap... but might be worth checking that with them. Cheers, Grant
