Yea, we've got a working visa as well... Dont think we'll be over in Perth until September/October time at the earliest, but after lots of people recommending it to us, its definitely somewhere we're going to spend a reasonable amount of time. GrantyBoy, I was the guy with the Civic at Dastek, good memory!! I've sent you an e-mail... Cheers, Grant

To be honest mate, you're going to screw the nuts off a 4-pot BMW engine to go anywhere, its a heavy car... the 4-pots arent that good (With the exception of the 2.0d Unit) I would go for a 6-cyl 325i at the least, it might mean you go slightly older.. or pay slightly more for an equivalent aged example to the 318's you're considering but it'll be easier to re-sell, give more relaxed cruising and potentially better MPG. Also more likely to come with a better amount of spec. Cheers, Grant

Wow, thankyou for all the comments guys.... they are greatly appreciated. The car is awesome, definitely the best all-round car that I've ever had and its very hard to let it go, but the trip to Oz is a once in a lifetime thing.. and I'm knocking on a bit now, not much time left to do something like this before I become "responsible" and grown up!! GrantyBoy, thanks for passing the link onto your friend.. its well worth a look, I can almost guarantee that if your friend is into GT4's he'll be seriously interested in this. We are leaving on March 8th, but spending a week to 10days at the Full Moon Festival in Thailand, so will be in Sydney from the 18th onwards.. where we have got accomodation and jobs lined up. After this we are then moving up the east coast to Brisbane where we will stay for about 3 months, before buying a car to travel up and over to the West Coast. We are aiming to finish up back in Sydney about 11 months after we arrived in Oz. Hmmmm, how much would a cheap WRX be over there?? I have been told that petrol is around 60cents a litre, which is absolutely nothing. Cheers, Grant

Thanks for the comments guys. Dougster, the wheels have been bought before they were able to land on my doorstep... Dan, you never know, its not THAT big a place... just full of desert and kangaroos, shouldnt be hard to spot other humans floating about!! Here are some pics (Will try to get better quality ones in next few days): Cheers, Grant

Haha, the 330d is the family car mate.... Car was cleaned today, but due to darkness, the pics will be tomorrow at some point. Cheers, Grant

Price: £8,000 The reason for seling is that I'm going to Australia for 12months in March... which is something I've wanted to do for years. Its unfair letting the car sit on the driveway doing nothing for that length of time.. and I dont like other people driving my car when I'm around. So not mad for letting them loose in it when I'm on the other side of the world!! Cheers, Grant

If I was you, I'd go for a set of headers and the re-map to start with.. that should leave a wee bit in case something needs fixed. That should get you to around 290bhp. Cheers, Grant

Sorry mate, cant help you I'm afraid... I'm up near Dundee, fair trek and I'm sure there are some good bodyshops out your way. There are lots of members in your area, so should be some good suggestions on their way. Cheers, Grant -
He was desperate to sell his wheels in time to get yours... so doubt he'll back out!! Cheers, Grant

Where are you based mate?? Cheers, Grant -
Yea, I'm a fan of those.... expensive, but they'd suit your car perfectly!! End of the day, its not like you're putting up with some dodgy scuffed old rims until the 18's arrive anyway!! lol Cheers, Grant

They are nice wheels, but I personally think that 17's are too small on the bigger Newage cars... Unless you're planning to buy some larger wheels for "show" and these will be resigned for winter & track use?? Cheers, Grant
-
Do the Bugeye JDM's not come with HID's as standard?? Faced with the choice, I'd go for the Black STi.... there are an awful lot of Blue Newage cars around. Also, surely if you're going to modify it then the initial power difference will be no more. Cheers, Grant
-
Aye, thats fine.... You'll have PM in a minute or two. Cheers, Grant

Just as and when you can manage to meet up with me mate.. Cheers, Grant

The Swig did a DVD of one of the runs... I think that payment went direct to Santa Cruise too. Was good, up until my dog decided it'd look better in his mouth than my DVD player?! Cheers, Grant
