  1. LOL... Its funny because it wasnt serious, could have been very different though!? I agree that your T/Timer should defo turn itself off when handbrake is released, could understand if it was a DIY fitting, but a garage like Dicksons should know that IMO!! Cheers, Grant
  2. Aye, thats what I thought.... Cheers, Grant
  3. What did it look like mate... Was it modified, wheels etc?? Cheers, Grant
  4. Thoughts are with family and friends... Terrible news. Cheers, Grant
  5. Paddy, you dont drive a Silver Wagon do you?? Gordon... bbs.scoobynet.co.uk is a shorter link there!! Cheers, Grant
  6. PMSL @ Anyone that gets worked up over sh@t on an internet forum. Cheers, Grant
  7. Looks like Christian & Beccy's car... Its had an awful lot of money spent on it, I'm pretty sure its still a 1.6.. or at least it was last time I was arsed to check out spec lists. They are quick wee cars, my S2 (c200bhp) will keep up with a UK Scoob with full de-cat from a rolling 40mph+ start, it pulls past half de-cat UK's easily. Off the line it gets smoked, badly!! Cheers, Grant
  8. Welcome mate, I think you're Laura's dad?? If not, I've just made a fool of myself..... sorry. Not seen the car yet, despite being only a couple of miles away!! Cheers, Grant
  9. << FY,YFP. >> IWMACFYM... Cheers, Grant
  10. Has he not just got DCCD in that Scoob... LOL @ the posing JC, thats worth buying it if nothing else is. Cheers, Grant
  11. I've read a few issues when I was round a friends house the other day..... it seems pretty good, think I'm going to subscribe in the near future. Are they both features Gordon?? You and JC?? Cheers, Grant
  12. A yes, I checked this forum before checking the other one... Cheers, Grant
  13. Good to see you made it over here mate... Didnt realise you've got a 22B, thats awesome!!! Cheers, Grant
  14. Feck, thats not good.. Glad it didnt let go that extra few cm's otherwise it might have been an awful lot worse. Cheers, Grant
  15. Caught your post in time Gavin.. Will give you a shout in the next few days to discuss it further!! Cheers, Grant
  16. I'll do a wee bit of research on the alarm on the net then.... It looks attractive, does what a £400+ Clifford system does, with a bit of added 'bling' too. Cheers, Grant
  17. Yes, be prepared to send your local garage a Crimbo Card next year.... because you'll be getting to know every assistant very well over the next 12 months!! Cheers, Grant
  18. Alright mate, welcome to SS. 7 weeks, you'll be getting used to the lovely high MPG by now then!! lol.. Cheers, Grant
  19. Aye, think you're right Colin... As I said, would be nice to have, but dont think its possible!! Whats the rule on Car Alarms, do you have to buy a "name" or can you trust a decent security company to stock stuff that has a proven track record for reliability and performance. Its just I've got a link to a company that supplied and fitted a system on a friends brand new import and one of the options they have is for a VIPER Alarm System, the list of features is impressive and it is within my budget too. Cheers, Grant
  20. Snow here in North Fife..... its a tough decision, RWD or 4WD...... But had a scare earlier in RWD, so think I'll stick to 4WD to build up my confidence again!! lol Cheers, Grant
  21. Watched it LOADS of times..... first time I've ever been shocked at the digger destroying the 2 E-Types and the Aston Martin!! Cheers, Grant
  22. Dont mind travelling a wee distance to get decent service to be honest... Have had a good experience when I took my Aunts Civic down to Skidz in Falkirk to get an Ai606 fitted about 3-4 years ago. Will give the guy in Arby a shout, IIRC Skidz charge £250 fitted for the Ai606. LOL @ Taking it to SAS!! Cheers, Grant
  23. I'm looking for somewhere to supply and fit a Cat 1 Alarm to my car.. Just looking to see where some of you guys have been and got a good service, I'm looking to spend around £300. I was considering a Toad Ai606 from Skidz, but wondered if there were other models & installers that perform well. I'm aware that these are usually extras but the features that I'd like (in an ideal world) are: Remote Start Turbo Timer Motion/Tilt Sensor Thanks for your help. Cheers, Grant
  24. Hi mate, welcome to SIDC... Hows the Subaru going just now?? You happy with it?? Which region are you in?? Cheers, Grant
  25. Have a great time..... the only thing that might be better here is the chance of playing in the snow with the 4WD!! Who am I trying to kid, I'd much rather be sunning myself in India. Cheers, Grant
