Worth checking the bootlid to see if it's the problem. Mine was needing the lock mechanism on the chassis moved down a couple of mm to ensure a tighter fit when closing, but I got 2 shocks out of it anyway!
If the dealer couldn't fix it properly with some investigation then it's their own fault
I think most of us are petrolheads first and then scooby or evo fans second!
Rog, if they do open it up stick a post up on here as Im sure there would be some takers. My mate Paul did it last year in his westie and he'd certainly be intersted again.
I checked on the MLR site. It's part of the Sumo Power MLR Sprint series and is open to members only and you have to assign your car to one of 4 classes, all of which are Evos.
It was on last year as my mate Paul took part.
Great pictures chaps.
Loving the clios line through the chicane.
Bloody hell Rog. That was quicker than a quick thing on quick day! Never realised the old girl had got her send off though. Was a pleasure to have sat behind you for a few laps in the damp a few years back. Inch perfect drifting round Mcintyres was something else.
The F1s definitely have a bit more roll than the RE050 and RE070, but by christ they hang on in the dry and especially in the wet.
Also - the ride quality and the road noise is night and day compared to the bridgestones.
Unless I was given a killer deal or got a long term test of a set of other tyres then for scottish road use I'll not be using anything but the F1s. Decent tyre life too
I wouldn't have guessed it was a sport unless you'd posted. New wheels are definitely a better look. What kind are they? There's a buddy club look about them.
John, for your three questions:
What does it do - standalone boost management (it does it, not the ECU)
How does it connect - magical pixies I assume
Do I want one - Unless you feel you are having issues controlling the boost then probably not.
12 litres consumed, or 12 litres purchased Grant?
I must say - London road shell is off my list due to 2 bad batches I've had in there at 2 completely different times.
