  1. I'd love to mate. But that's good mod money. I'd also kill myself on it.
  2. I hope that was a series and not just a one AFF. Tongs ya bas nearly made me laugh up my dinner. Disappointed not to see the sketch from absolutely where the boy cycles over the border, shouts "POOFS" then cycles back into Scotland again.
  3. What cars were you in? I've done the rally experience. It was a good laugh. Got the sierra nicely sideways a few times.
  4. Take it through the clyde tunnel and you'll smile for the rest of the week. I know I do.
  5. GO-PED! If anyone's got a big car park at work or near them then these are mad fun. My cousin has one for getting round the pit lane and paddock when he's away racing. When he was up at KH in July I had a couple of shots on it. Had to hang on for dear life because he had one of the quicker ones that accelerated really nicely, complete with sports exhaust too! £100 is a complete steal.
  6. 6 sub 10 second runs in a day? Your organs must be mashed about with all those gforces. Well done mate.
  7. Scary, I started school 20 years ago. I bet you were more scared than she was.
  8. I've ordered my stuff today, hopefully get it later in the week. Full whiteline alloy droplinks, geometery done too, and red stuff pads. Track day here I come. The nice people at hypertech will even pickup my car from work, fit the goodies and drop it off later.
  9. Cal, I'm hopefully getting Droplinks and then prodrive geometery done very very soon. I'll let you know how much it helps.
  10. There's a 17" set of these on ebay I've been lusting after. I do like them in white. Think they'd look good on a black car. Can't afford them though.
  11. I'll be heading up, but probably not until about half 10. A) because I'm lazy on saturday mornings, and because I'm taking my wee cousin with me, and he'll not be here until about then probably. Would be up for a convoy from somewhere though.
  12. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. IF you look %202005MY&type=Exterior'>here there is a "fog lamp trim kit". Might be what you need as if you look at the fog lamp entry it says you need to buy the trim kit with them to fit it. Reasonably cheap too.
  13. They sell them individually. The WRX has no covers at all if we're thinking of the same bits. Part description: Cover Fog STI RHN & LHN Part number: 57731FE300PG (RHS) Part number: 57731FE310PG (LHS) That's for blue ones apparently. About £35 notes or so.
  14. I should be heading up to this next Saturday. Probably bring my little cousin along. Only 11/12 but knows all his cars from many an hour on computer games.
  15. It's costing me a fortune Jools! But I like it.
  16. oobster, are the "airdam skirts" a complete wraparound part, ie 1 part for the full bumper and not 1 part for each side? I ask because I already have my splitter on which is a WRX fitmet, and I think adding that is a no-no with the sti bits added on, but I'd like to know anyway.
  17. Chris, apparently progrip in Bonnybridge do it. I'm off today, but not heading in that direction so was looking for somewhere else too.
  18. << Nowt wrong with Seat's mate. Used to work for a chain of dealerships and used to get a new car every few weeks to stick some miles on so they could sell it as an ex-dem. They gave me a Cordoba 1.9TDi - flew like sh** off the proverbial. Only time in my life I've ever been pulled by a cop was in that and that's just cause he was solo and on an ego trip. Gotta love Scots Law - couldn't do me on his ownsome >> Hence why the foot goes down a couple of extra notches as you hit gretna on the way north. Ovv, you'll get a nice Euro Import for Leon money. You'd need to sell the Leon privately though as these places tend to offer poor trade-ins. I got my car from Motorpoint in Glasgow and had no troubles. Although you will get free servicing and PPP on a new UK car right now if you shop at the right dealer.
  19. Ah the Royal Dutch Airlines. Business class = Shmoke and a pancake after take off. Visit to the red light cabin is optional. I worked in the travel industry for a few years selling holidays, which was the worst job in the world to be honest, but it did let me rather saddly learn the configuration of a lot of different aircraft. As well as sampling a few myself too.
  20. The handle was there after all. I look like quite the fool.
  21. I wonder what the fellows at Subaru are mixing up in their cauldron. I don't think anyone would argue that the Evo has a cleverer (I'm not saying better, that's a whole other discussion) 4wd system than anything Subaru is offering as is, and if this Evo X is the technological revolution Mitsubishi have claimed it to be then it will be rather special. Unless their revolution is being able to pass a shell station without thinking "och, I'll just nip in for a top up".
  22. Premium Economy is different things to different airlines. Some of them it can be simple things like the emergency exit seats. Some of them it's proper business/first class style section of the cabin with better seats, but how much better they are is entirely random really. I've flown first, business, some sort of business first hybrid on American Airlines, and a few premium economy style seating arrangements too. Luckily I wasn't paying for them so I can't really comment on value for money, but as someone who is quite tall I can certainly say they were much appreciated, and that includes the most basic premium econonmy one that I flew.
  23. Not as revolutionary as I was expecting. Not bad though. Quite a high waist line, but I like it. Perhaps the running gear is the bit that's revolutionary.
  24. That's one place I've not looked Iain. I looked in the tool pouch and on the Jack itself before throwing my hands up in disgust.
