  1. Hi, and welcome. As we know model years between the US and the ROTW vary slightly, which style of manifold/exhaust is fitted to yours................... This MY06> http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/us_g11/type_10/exhaust_system/exhaust/illustration_4/ or the earlier >MY05 http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/us_g11/type_10/exhaust_system/exhaust/illustration_1/ With either version the Exhaust pipe assembly-rear, 44200SA041 is common with UK 2.0X and 2.5X N/A SG Foresters so it should be fairly straight forward to get a cat back exhaust. http://www.haywardandscott.com/subaru/impreza-sport-non-turbo.html
  2. Complete starter - Item 10........... http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/en_g10/type_38/engine_electronic/starter/illustration_1/ Compatibility for Classic Imprezas, also used on other models........... http://opposedforces.com/parts/info/23300AA381/ Fuel Tank main sender unit - Item 21 http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/en_g10/type_38/intake_and_supply_system_turbocharger/fuel_tank/illustration_2/ Compatability... http://opposedforces.com/parts/info/85111FA130/
  3. Straight pin, 804014060 Would try ordering from a dealer(next day supply if in stock at Subaru UK) or speak to any of the major engine builders..........
  4. The fact the pipe came off meant that the wastegate would have remained closed leading to your boost jumping to 1.7bar, and causing the BOV to lift. As long as the silicone pipe remains attached there is nothing wrong with using it, Just add a couple of clips until you get it mapped and the boost solenoid is back in action at the correct duty cycle for the map.
  5. From the highlighted above,I take it you are running it at wastegate boost pressure until you have it mapped, although "after a bit of a rag" would suggest you're not taking it that easy. If you've bought silicone vacuum hose, it may be too big a I/D or may require the use of clips to keep it on the nipples. It will be considerably softer to the touch than the original rubber pipe work.
  6. They would look the same but do different jobs, the A/F sensor being much more expensive. Probably the cheapest place to by an OEM one......http://www.japanesecarimports.net/parts_info.asp?id=4822&cat=0&sub=0&sec=0&var=0&dc=&gen=&searchKey=22641AA042
  7. They are both 4 pin but you need the wide band A/F sensor.
  8. Unless the wiring has been damaged, it's a new A/F sensor...... Depending upon exact Model Year (there is no MY55 that's just when it was registered)) 2.0L MY05 SENSOR ASSEMBLY - AIR/FUEL RATIO 22641AA042 2.5L MY06 SENSOR ASSEMBLY - AIR/FUEL RATIO 22641AA211
  9. A lot of people mount them in front of the passenger seat on a bracket, but not sure how that would go in a Hatch.......... Depends on the size
  10. If the red led stays on then it's possible the button switch has stuck/jammed. Maybe worth taking it apart and having a look at the PCB.
  11. It's a Bugeye - no leads, no central coil pack
  12. 2) You'll need one of these or similar http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/160802157403?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&adtype=pla As an aerial booster is used, you'll need to check that the power antenna output lead (usually blue)is connected to pin14 (white) of the connector.....
  13. What code did you get?? It will determine what the problem/which sensor it is. P0030 HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P0031 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P0032 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P0037 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 2) P0038 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Bank 1 sensor 1 - A/F (wideband) sensor in the manifold just before the up pipe Bank 1 sensor 2 - O2 sensor after the second(missing) cat.
  14. Have you not read FHI/Subaru's info in post#6 ???? But yes a short time off boost before shutting the engine off is recommended
  15. They would appear to be different, but you can check yourself............... http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/en_g11/

  21. I lack the hair required Currently, sorting out garage to make better use of space (and clearing out a lot of scrap).
  22. Thought I'd seen that reg before........ Used to belong to KEV1 before he got his Saloon, but I expect Tony (T5NYW) knows all about it. The previous owner couldn't have had it long as I believe he picked it up from CrossRoads, the day the picture was taken in April this year.
